I know IBU asking here but I have to start doing something before I go pop! What are you doing at home to workout? Any fitness DVD recommendations?
I can’t do anything in daylight hours and after a few incidents near where we live I don’t fancy going out for a run after work.

I exercise to fabulous 50s on YouTube. 30 minute walking exercise mixed with some exercises. I have been doing it since july (almost daily) and feel a difference.

customerisqueen · 02/11/2020 21:38

I like FIIT ... you can get 2 weeks free to try it out and if you like it either monthly, quarterly or annual sub. Loads of class options -25 or 40 mins. Either no equipment or they have classes with weights, bands etc if you want.

picklemewalnuts · 02/11/2020 21:39

I do tai chi. It's good for balance, strength and stamina, but also really good for relaxation and calmness.

Twerking9to5 · 02/11/2020 21:39

I second fitness blender! Hundreds of options you can filter by type of exercise, time and equipment etc. It’s really good!

FitOn - it's a free app where you put in your goals (mine is "get started with fitness" I think) and it spits out a 12 week plan which saves you from scrolling through and picking what video to choose, or you can just do individual videos, livestreams, or 30 day challenges and the like.

Franticbutterfly · 02/11/2020 21:41

Bodyfit by Amy is good and she does a lot of 10 min workouts so you can add them together, or not, depending on how you are feeling.

Hobnobsandbroomstick · 02/11/2020 21:41

I bought this exercise bike in June, it was the only one that I could find in stock anywhere. I hated using the exercise bike at the gym before, but actually quite enjoy using it in my living room while watching Netflix.

I walk a minimum of 5k per day at a brisk pace (with my dog) and do Joe Wicks. Some days like today I walked 14k in total (9k was big walk then 2 smart walks) and I don’t do Joe Wicks.

LooseMooseHoose · 02/11/2020 21:41

Down dog yoga and barre for me. When you subscribe to Down Dog you get access to all their workout apps, but these are the two I use most

FatGirlShrinking · 02/11/2020 21:42

Our park free work out sessions, it's a 9 week programme, 3 x 30 min sessions a week, no equipment, 1 x cardio, 1 x core, 1 x Glutes.

They also have the videos in a playlist on YouTube if you want it on the TV - https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzyGqy4hi5yAr4wQImo5HgwZIZ58PVyY-

I'm a member of fit lab - fit-lab.co.uk

They were/are a local exercise company but since lockdown went online and are staying online. They deliver 20+ live classes via Facebook (private group, £16 per 4 weeks). All classes are saved so you can exercise when it suits you. They do Zumba and other dance style work outs, step, aerobics and dancy aerobics, weight training, tube training and yoga/pilate style classes. Plus they do little pop up classes and specific workouts like abs, arms etc.

They are a great group and make it easy to fit workouts around your schedule.

toomuchfaster · 02/11/2020 21:56

Popsugar on YouTube, all free. A mix so you can choose what you want to do and for how long.

ScrapThatThen · 02/11/2020 22:07

Try Bollywood dance videos for a great mood lift workout.

Guineapigbridge · 02/11/2020 22:08

I like African Dance workouts on YouTube. Lots of booty shaking and a heap of fun.

This!
Lotts123 · 02/11/2020 22:11

A zoom account and lewisfitnesspt.co.uk/ 😊 live classes or on Demand if the timetable isn’t convenient for you.

QueenMabby · 02/11/2020 22:15

Sydney Cummings on YouTube. All free. A new workout every day 6 days a week and a stretch on day 7. I’ve been doing it five days a week since mid-June. She’s fabulous.

Regretsy · 02/11/2020 22:17

If you like dance, the fitness Marshall is soooo good. He’s really silly and camp but amazing dance teacher and I actually feel like I’ve had a workout unlike other free YouTube videos. I just play various ones until I feel like I’ve had a good workout. Have developed massive, inappropriate crush on him.

SonjaMorgan · 02/11/2020 22:18

Chloe ting on YouTube. I have been following one of the plans off her website where you build a workout plan from different 15-20min videos.

Regretsy · 02/11/2020 22:18

Also fitness blender ones are good but I avoid their earlier ones as the guy narrating the woman’s workout gives me the creeps.
