To be surprised that at how awful these dresses are?

I'm not sure awful is the right word or why Facebook would think I might like 'Pencil Me In' or 'Treat Yourself'?

@LittleGwyneth

Beyond awful. Belongs to the sort of person who thinks screaming about a dress having pockets is funny, thinks Cards Against Humanity is the height of amusement and who talks about what Hogwarts house they're in.
Lemme guess, you wear 'cigarette pants and a crisp white shirt', sometimes with a 'statement red lip' if you are feeling a little keraaaaazy.

Who was 'screaming' about pockets by the way? Confused

What does your dress say about you? What colour scheme shouts "unreasonable, judgy and bitchy"?

Don't be silly, a colour scheme can't shout judgemental and bitchy. The accessories have to do that.
LittleGwyneth · 02/11/2020 17:03

@KnightsofColumbusThatHurt God no, how painfully dull.

The pockets thing is very 2014. Half of the stuff in Zara right now has pockets.

@Haworthia

Well FWIW *@LittleGwyneth*’s post made me laugh. Painted a very vivid picture Grin

Come on then, what do you wear? I'm intiruged now Smile

birdling · 02/11/2020 17:11

I really like them.

Alicesweewonders · 02/11/2020 17:14

I love the style, very quirky. Bought my first dress from them last month. Love it.

Wheresthepostie · 02/11/2020 17:19

Sweet Jesus have mercy. These are beyond ghastly Shock

Try hard 'quirky' or 'bubbly' monstrosities and yes I agree with a PP who said it's something Kirsty Allsop would wear.

Oh my. No, just a resounding No.

CroutonsCroutons · 02/11/2020 17:23

As teaching staff and having worked with Primary pupils; I would not be buying these for work especially at £50 a pop!
I understand some people like them though but not for me. The style isn't flattering to me either.
But if you like it go for it!! X

Why are these very ordinary home made looking dresses bring out such strong opinions and over 400 posts?

Is this a sponsored post? Very odd.

Are you joking? Where on earth do you live if these are ordinary clothes? Munchkin Land?
LittleGwyneth · 03/11/2020 10:34

@KnightsofColumbusThatHurt I actually really had to think about this! Most into denim jumpsuits or cardigans and boyfriend jeans at the moment. Am a Zara / Whistles / Topshop / American Vintage /Cezanne / Ganni / ASOS fan.

It's a bit weird. They're just unusual patterns, nothing too crazy.

Now, if you were to start a thread on Joe Browns and their tunic monstrosities...

Zucker · 03/11/2020 11:48

That's exactly what I meant nevermorelenore.

A dress like this I could understand the outrage Grin

Best viral
Marketing ever!
I’ve ordered 2. Will update when they arrive

Caeruleanblue · 03/11/2020 13:09

I suspect these new companies are online out of China - they sell online only, set up a regular new ssheet to keep you up to date with their fab ' trends', look like Boden but prob run sweatshops somewhere or other.
I'm happy to be corrected. And I spose it doesn't really matter. Just feel a bit conned if I'm right.

Nonamesavail · 03/11/2020 14:36

I got my order tonight. I dont like it .

switswooo · 03/11/2020 15:33

All the dresses seem to be the same waist, and they wouldn't have suited me even was a size 10.

switswooo · 03/11/2020 15:33

*even when I was

MedusasBadHairDay · 03/11/2020 15:44

Thanks for the link OP, those look just my kind of thing. They'll look lovely worn with my cats eye glasses Wink

(Wouldn't the world be dull if we all liked the same thing)

Pangur2 · 05/11/2020 16:42

Mine turned up the other day. They aren’t as short waisted as I thought, or as short. The model must be quite tall. I got the rainbow book one and the pencils. Rainbow fits great, pencils needs a minimiser bra, so different styles have slightly different fits.

Thisisworsethananticpated · 05/11/2020 20:37

God ! It’s clothes
Just clothes
All I’ve worn for the past year is black leggings , black jumper and black trainers
Every
Bloody day

So kudos to anyone who mixes it up a bit

Wrenna · 05/11/2020 20:40

I like most of them

ThatIsNotMyUsername · 06/11/2020 17:04

I got the cat shirt. I love it. I don’t like the shape of the same print dress though. But the discount is now higher I think.
