To have more than one bottle of shower gel on the go at the same time?

I love nice shower gels - not expensive ones but things like Treacle Moon, Original Source etc which i mostly buy when they're on offer! Usually I just open one at a time, and finish the whole bottle before starting a new one, but the other day, I fancied a different "flavour" so now I have 2 on the go ...... is this pushing frivolity too far, and should i really just go back to a bar of carbolic soap?! Grin

At one point we had 6 open I think. Why not? They don't go off after they are open so what's the problem? It's nice to have a choice - one day you might like to smell of pink grapefruit the next coconut. Live a little!! Grin

One Xmas DH got me loads of different bath foams, so I had a basketful with at least half a dozen open.

Bar soap is gross - it gets all manky and hairy and ends up being thrown away. Plus no way am I using the same soap bar as my dses so we would have loads of manky soap bars all over the place.

Mine are L'Occitane - DH keeps buying them for birthday, Christmas etc - and I take the bottles back to the shop for recycling.

I have different ones open too. Citrus type ones for the morning, and 'calmer' ones for the evening. Enjoy :)

I have 2! One I like for if I have before-bed showers (Cashmere Scented Nivea, v nice) and one for the morning (Sunshine Love Nivea - smells like suncream!). I really love Nivea shower gels - probably the one brand I'm in any way loyal to, haha!

Oh, and a bottle of Lush Olive Branch for special occasions cos it costs a fortune.

We've got about 4 sets of shampoo and conditioner on the go because I'm flighty and my hair hates me. Our bathroom looks like a student house.

Morning shower, i want something fresh, invigorating, wake me up... Original source lemony whatever..

Bedtime shower, I want somethign warm and cosy and nice... currently, bakewell tart so i go to bed smelling like cake.

Who wants to always smell the same every day? Not meeeeeee!

I have different flavours. And cheaper ones for the week and a "posh" one for the weekend!

They are not all out - I keep them in the cupboard, not even in the actual shower as it's the size of a postage stamp

I have the same, with bath stuff. Currently the choices are Kneipp Fig bath foam, Yves Rocher Lavender/something Berry bath gel and some floral scented bath salt. Absolutely love it.

I have 3 in my shower basket, a posh one for when I feel like it, a fruity fragranced one & an oil one if my skin feels dry. I always have 3 on the go, life’s too short to just finish one before you start another. DH only likes original source lime, so that’s all he has in his basket.

OP since it's nearly november, you should buy at least one Christmas cookies scented shower gel to wash your bum so you don't have to use the special toilet paper immediately after you wash or shower.

I made it my mission during lock down to sort out the bathroom cabinet. We had 8 shower gels and I think 4 bubble baths open. Several different Shampoos on the go. We now have one of each Thing in the cabinet for the girls/me and one for Dh/Ds. The cabinet is much easier to look at now and I can find what I’m looking for far easier!
