I’ve never watched Titanic or Grease 😂😂

@FairNotFair

Dirty Dancing

And when I admit to this, I get looks as though I've drop-kicked a kitten.

Another one I haven’t seen 😂😂 I’ve seen LOTR and all HP films but honestly I haven’t even HEARD of a lot of these films 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Another one for Titanic and Dirty Dancing, they just never appealed.

I haven't seen 50 Shades or Mama Mia either but I don't think they come under the 'films everyone's seen' umbrella do they?

RunningFromInsanity · 25/10/2020 14:18

Jaws
ET

Pretty much any Christmas movie

maddiemookins16mum · 25/10/2020 14:20

Pretty Woman
Avatar
All Harry Potter films
All Lord of the Rings films

WildRosie · 25/10/2020 14:21

I've only seen a bit of Kes. In my part of the world that's tantamount to treason. I just didn't see the appeal. A bit like other ee-by-gum films, e.g. Brassed Off. I haven't seen any of that. Also:

Top Gun
Avatar
Back To The Future (none of them)
The Matrix
Saw
None of the Daniel Craig Bond films
Casablanca
The Untouchables
The Full Monty

I'm sure there must be umpteen more. I haven't been to a cinema for twenty five years.

LakieLady · 25/10/2020 14:35

All Bond films after Goldfinger
All superhero films except for the first Superman
Star Wars - all of them
Any Pixar movie
Any Disney cartoon since The Lion King
The Matrix movies

I've been really put off going to the cinema after a few bad experiences with audiences made up of people who have no idea how to behave and appalling sound quality. We have a lovely independent cinema locally, but because they're an independent, they don't get mainstream movies very often.

And I don't enjoy movies on tv anything like as much. They're not immersive in the same way.

Hiphopboppertybop99 · 25/10/2020 14:35

Loads ha ha!! Including:
James Bond
Harry Potter
Lord of The Rings

Dirty dancing.

FloraButterCookie · 25/10/2020 14:37

Dirty Dancing, The Notebook. Probably loads more

Okbye · 25/10/2020 14:42

All the Harry Potters except the first one which I grudgingly sat through at the Cinema with my little brother.
Absolute tosh and doesn’t interest me in the slightest!

52andblue · 25/10/2020 14:42

Any Marvel / superhero type film.
Any Disney film (except the old ones)
Almost all horror type films
Start Wars (tho we did go to see one of the 'originals' in the cinema recently & I fell asleep 10 mins in and woke up to the closing credits)

I agree with @LakieLady
cinemas are full of people eating smelly food and talking but movies at home are not immersive in the same way (esp with teens pausing it to check phones and make more popcorn every 20 mins!)

AdriannaP · 25/10/2020 14:46

Any Harry Potter
Star wars
Lord of the Rings

ZeldaPrincessOfHyrule · 25/10/2020 14:49

Grease
Titanic
Dirty Dancing
Pretty Woman
Forrest Gump

Deathgrip · 25/10/2020 14:49

I used to be a writer for film magazines, always populated by quite nerdy blokes - I had to keep it a secret that I had never once managed to sit through a single Star Wars film as they are interminable.

Have never managed a whole James Bond either.

KatherineJaneway · 25/10/2020 14:50
