Star Wars films
Frozen

WitchesSpelleas · 25/10/2020 12:02

Some more - I've never seen any of the Nightmare on Elm Street films. Never seen the Harry Potter films & never seen Star Wars.

Tiersforfears · 25/10/2020 12:02

Harry potters or read the books and the lord of the ring. I will read the Harry potters when my kids are old enough, I missed the boat with Harry Potter in my childhood.

MadisonAvenue · 25/10/2020 12:03

None of the Star Wars
Greatest Showman
Mamma Mia
Frozen
Whatever it is that those minion things feature in

CakeRequired · 25/10/2020 12:08

Fight Club!

Continue not bothering, you're missing nothing. It's a pile of crap that just gets ridiculously stupid towards the end. I should never have given in and watched it, waste of 2 hours.

I've not watched a lot of popular films, like any of the godfather ones, the Indians Jones ones, terminator etc. I know i won't like them, seen the trailers, read a description, I'm not interested. It's the same with things like breaking bad and game of thrones. Not managed to finish either, I fall asleep during game of thrones. Breaking bad is just boring.

startrek90 · 25/10/2020 12:11

Forrest Gump
Top gun
Any of the rocky films (I cannot stand sylvester stallone)

StillCoughingandLaughing · 25/10/2020 12:16

I’m reading this and realising there are several here I haven’t seen. I think it’s because I’ve never quite got ‘going to the cinema’ as an activity in itself, if that makes sense. If a film comes out and I like the sound of it, I’ll go, but I’d never think ‘Let’s go to the cinema’ and then find something to see.

OohKittens · 25/10/2020 12:17

FairNotFair · 25/10/2020 12:19

Dirty Dancing

And when I admit to this, I get looks as though I've drop-kicked a kitten.

MiniElvis · 25/10/2020 12:20

Harry Potter

StCharlotte · 25/10/2020 12:21

Star Wars. Any of them.

Notting Hill.

Rover83 · 25/10/2020 12:24

I dont think I've watched anything released in the last 10 years including the greatest showman. I've also never watched star wars.

Prufrocks · 25/10/2020 12:26

@StillCoughingandLaughing

Pulp Fiction. At first I just didn’t fancy seeing it, but then who heard I hadn’t was so disbelieving and aerated about it, I refused to see it out of sheer belligerence.
Exactly the same for me.
sst1234 · 25/10/2020 12:30

Star Wars
Marvel

Soubriquet · 25/10/2020 12:31

Probably quite a few but the biggest franchise has to be Star Wars

Not seen any of them

Fifty shades of gray
I've only seen the first star wars film, none of the rest

marriednotdead · 25/10/2020 12:42

Had a quick scan through the films listed here so far. I watched all of the Harry Potter films across a fortnight at the beginning of lockdown and half a dozen of the others listed before.
With the exception of Lion King, I was pressured into watching by people saying 'how the hell have you not seen...?!' Obviously with the HP films I had run out of avoidance options Grin

It's not that I don't want to see any films, it just doesn't occur to me to do it as a leisure activity.

hm246 · 25/10/2020 12:45

Not one Star Wars film
Not one James Bond film
The notebook
Forrest Gump

VestaTilley · 25/10/2020 12:45

You’re not missing out; Titanic is overhyped and Grease is really misogynistic (which you realise when you watch it back as an adult).

I’ve never seen Star Wars. Until I rectified the situation DH had never seen The Great Escape.
