I can't find anything on Google search to tell me it's fake - what's going on here? Lots in the comments section about it being a "fetish".

I dont think its transgender related, I think it's just a fetish, people have fetishes about all sorts of things

There is a situation here in the states that teens both male and female are soaking tampons in liquor such as Vodka,Tequila and Rum and inserting them into their vagina/anus to get drunk without the liquor breath....American teens are stupid though

The tweeter thread may be a load of made up shite, but the fetish is very real. There’s nothing transphobic about recognising that men, under the guise of claiming to be trans, as opposed to male bodied people who genuinely identify as trans, are entering female toilets in order to steal, wear and insert actual women’s sanitary wear. There are some who wipe their dicks on the clean toilet roll as they get a thrill from knowing a woman or little girl will wipe themselves with it. This is the risk that women face if self ID is written into law. The charlatans will hid amongst those male bodied people who suffer from body dysmorphia and genially identify as trans.

Why should women stop talking about it? Why is it transphobic to talk about a kink or perversion that use unwitting and unwilling females as tools? We’re not tools to be used for a male’s validation or kink, no matter how many try to bully us into accepting that.

I think this is an excellent idea if we can also give the “boys” crippling abdominal cramps, vomiting and flooding with blood in public at the least convenient moment. Also they need to hold down jobs and give presentations or stand on their feet all day while racked with pain, off their heads on painkillers, and desperately needing to get to a loo but can’t because it’s awkward to explain why.
Let’s give them the full experience.

'Trans stuff' is not about fetishism. Trans stuff is about trans people and their rights, and has nothing to do with fetishism. Don't confuse the two, it's this kind of ignorance and transphobia that gives this forum a very bad name.

I first heard of boys effing around with tampons about thirty years ago - my brother and his (male) friends dicked around with them for the lols (basically egging each other on to insert them anally) when they were about fourteen?fifteen? and made a point of delightedly telling me about how they'd shoved them up their bums. As a group, most of them were sexually abusive misogynists from about the age of 11 (and I suspect they had experienced abuse themselves).

I don't think this was fetish related, but I'm having trouble finding the vocabulary to explain why they did it (or claimed to).
