To think its ok to send my ironing out?

Have discovered this fab ironing lady just down the road from me but DH keeps moaning that i'm sending it out all the time. Its just such a relief to bung it in a bag and have it all come back nicely pressed. Am a SAHM so should i be making time to do it myself?

I've tried that thing anthea does with the fitted sheets - i can't do it for love nor money. Have you seen her doing the t-shirt fold thingy?

i offered to iron dp's work shirts earlier this year when i decided to take a career break and stay at home with dd while she's so small instead of going back to work at the end of my mat leave. I thought i should do something to contribute to a reduction in our outgoings. Obviously he agreed. Until he had to wear the shirts I had ironed. At which point, without a word to me, he started taking them to the local drycleaners again to be pressed. I did a good job of appearing to be put out by this insult to my ironing efforts.

LOL - Nice work countryhousehotel!

ScottishMummy · 29/10/2007 15:25

ScottishMummy · 29/10/2007 19:21

hamster face like a well skelped erse so so dull bet he likes phil collins and celine dion

bigspender30 · 30/10/2007 09:22

I think there's something quite attractive about him! Maybe its the devil may care attitude............but then I thought Russell Brand was looking quite fit last night so think I'm going a bit mental....

elliemac · 30/10/2007 12:29

If you gave Russell Brand a nice short hair cut i think he would be quite good looking! Scottishmummy probably fantasizes about the MacDonald Brothers when she's ironing!!!

OP posts:
Lorayn · 30/10/2007 12:31

russell brand looked lovely with shorter hair, he showed a video of him on ponderland where he showed off his lovely bone structure.....and more besides

elliemac · 30/10/2007 12:43

Did you see Heat magazine is running that thing on strange celebrity crushes again - There are some belters! Its Robson Green i love. If he knocked on my door i'd be off

ScottishMummy · 30/10/2007 14:02

elliemac · 30/10/2007 19:17

Hey don't be slagging off the Proclaimers - I'm off to see them next week. I only want to hear the 500 miles song live. I'll be bored shitless for the rest of the concert. Its not even seated! Here's another one for you - Phil Vickery Mmmmmmmmmmm!
