Just that really. Will you actually report your neighbours if you see they have over 6 people at christmas, if the rule of 6 is still in place?

Yabu: yes i will report them
Yanbu: i wouldn't report

From my point of view, i wouldn't report.

I wouldn't report anyone anyway unless they were on the streets being loud and rowdy. You could have 100 people in your living room and I couldn't give a shit so long as you're quiet.

Wanderings · 17/10/2020 19:11

I’ll report anyone who considers being a nosey vigilante curtain-twitcher to Father Christmas. Coal in their children’s stockings - that’ll learn ‘em. The punishment of distraught children will be far worse than any sanction Saint Boris could dish out!

And to make sure you read that correctly, it’s the sneaks and grasses who would be punished in this way, not those defying the Three Bellends’ agenda of fear.

LittleDoritt · 17/10/2020 19:11

No, I wouldn't, although I will be sticking to the rules myself.

Nickname01 · 17/10/2020 19:12

No, Unless they were spilling out onto the street with a set of decks out the front.

AgentProvocateur · 17/10/2020 19:12

No, because I’m not a dick.

ColonSemiColon · 17/10/2020 19:13

No, not for a few over 6 with people obviously visiting family for Christmas. I’ll be sticking to the rules myself though. I might call the police if it was a large house party.

ComDummings · 17/10/2020 19:13

No chance

MadameBlobby · 17/10/2020 19:14

No

mbosnz · 17/10/2020 19:15

Hell no. I don't know their stories, I don't know their circumstances, and I'm not going to become an unpaid member of the Stasi for this numpty of a Government.

flaviaritt · 17/10/2020 19:15

Unless they’re taking the piss, no.

ChristmasinJune · 17/10/2020 19:16

No, I'm hoping to be busy enjoying my own Christmas.
If somebody had massive spilling out onto the street type parties every night for the whole period then maybe, 7 round for a turkey dinner.... no chance!!

Bubbletrouble43 · 17/10/2020 19:18

No I bloody won't. And I'm very much for sticking to the regulations, and quite an anxious person. I would think some part of my soul had died if I did that to someone at Christmas.

BrainAyche · 17/10/2020 19:18

Nope. Our neighbours have been breaking the rules since the beginning. Nothing excessive still.
I raise an eyebrow but that's about it.

We'll be breaking the rule of 6 by 1 at Christmas.

MyFavouritePlace · 17/10/2020 19:19

No I wouldn't report.

Fromthetopmakeitdrop · 17/10/2020 19:20

No. What would it achieve? By the time you notice they're already in the house & the harm has been done. I wouldn't report anyone for anything other than a serious crime. I'm not the neighbourhood watch. I think most people are already being asked to keep away from their family & have done the best they can. My parent died very suddenly in July (not COVID) and I wish I had broken the rules and spent some time with them. As it stands I seen them once since April so no, I think each family needs to do what's right for them.

Potnoodleforbrains · 17/10/2020 19:20

No way!

jdoejnr1 · 17/10/2020 19:20

Couldn't give a toss. If they want to kill their elderly family members thats their call. The police have more important things to deal with.

Report to whom?

Wife2b · 17/10/2020 19:22

Nope, none of my business. Plus I don’t plan on spending my Christmas looking out the window counting how many people my neighbours may or may not have coming and going.

NiceLegsShameAboutTheFace · 17/10/2020 19:22

No, I bloody well wouldn't. Not at Christmas or at any other time. Have as many people as you want round: none of my friggin business!

sapnupuas · 17/10/2020 19:23

I hope I'm too pissed to notice what my neighbours are doing.

ivfbeenbusy · 17/10/2020 19:23

Yeah I'd call the police followed by the Grinch and Scrooge 🤣

Tellmetruth4 · 17/10/2020 19:23

I’d complain about a full on party but if it’s clearly extended family, no I wouldn’t say anything.

joystir59 · 17/10/2020 19:25

I wont report anyone for anything Covid-19 related.
