Lasagna with cheese on top

Just ordered a food delivery as a treat, DH ordered a lasagna and it came with cheese on top.

I would of complained as cheese does not belong on lasagna but DH loves it as says it's meant to come with melted grated cheese on top.

I disagree and think it's just meant to have the white sauce.

Should Lasagna have cheese?

YANBU = No cheese

YABU = Yes cheese

Of course you have cheese on top of it. I thought that was standard. I love pub lasagne and all the cheese! YABU!

The crispy cheese is the best bit of a lasagne!!

I put mozzarella on too of my hind made one and if you came for tea I bet you’d scoff they lot!

You would 'of' complained? Cheese is an essential component of lasagne, often three types of cheese and Bechamel sauce. I love it and now you've mentioned lasagne, I want one!

See, that's how shocking the OP is. It took about 150 posts before someone commented on the grammatical error. Anything less controversial like shouting at kittens and that would have been pulled up within the first 10 posts.

Ive also never known Lasagne to not have cheese on it.

I agree it is very very very wrong!

I either make one normal lasagne for the sensible people in my house (myself and DDs) and a cheese free one for cheese hating DH or keep a corner cheese free for him.

He now buys jars of white sauce because he realised I was sneaking in extra parmesan in the white sauce (his portion to 🤣,)
