Lots of different usernames on Mumsnet?

I do I do and the reason is plain and simple. I know people I work with that use this site and I don't want them to suspect who I am.

I bet most of you have several usernames for the same reasons right?

I havnt name changed, am quite new though. I do wish i had done though for some really personal stuff i recently posted. A i do know a couple of people on her in RL. they are pretty much aware of the personal stuff, but not in so much detail. I didnt think of them reading it at the time i posted it.

I also just wanted to help the OP on the thread as they were really going through some terrible stuff that i could relate too.. I wish there was some way i could go back and change my name on that thread.. anyone know if you can??

Indeed a ZOMBIE THREAD but popped up on my "threads I'm on" as I posted on it in 2007!

I wonder how many of those 2007 posters are still here under the same username?

I do fairly regularly, probably just due to paranoia. I think if you put everything I’ve written together you could maybe figure out my identity - and I’m a very private person. Not sure why anyone would, like I say it’s not really rational 😂

but if you change your name... can people read your old threads under old name?

I change regularly enough aleven though I don’t know anyone who uses (or admits to using) mumsnet.
