The beards gone....

So “D”P shaved his beard off this evening. He’s had it for at least 5 years.
He looks like a complete stranger.

AIBU to make him sleep in the shed?

Not U at all. When my DP did this a few months ago I was soooo creeped out by him.

I would be seriously creeped out if mine shaved too! He had a small goatee when we met but once he hit about 35 he decided to grow it in and now a decade later I can't imagine him bare faced.

My husband did that and my 3yo at the time freaked her shit...Pit him in the shed

But what does he look like? 10 years younger (sleep with him), all pouchy, like a hampster (the shed)

It wasn’t intentional. He was giving it a little trim & a tidy up and the youngest knocked his arm & he ended up with a huge chunk missing so just got rid of it all 😖

Luckily, we have older photos of when he was clean shaven in the house & the kids are a bit older so can make the connection.

When dh had his long hair cut off ds wouldn't go near him for weeks!!

Beards are vile. YABU to have not LTB when he grew one.

My dad has always had a beard, and every couple of years he would shave it off it was very weird lol

When my OH had his full beard shaved off nearly 30 years ago I didn't notice. I kept looking at him thinking something's different. Took me ages to work it out!

It's hilarious when he pulls it in towards his neck because it reveals that he has SUCH A TINY CHIN!

BIL would completely freak me out. I had the opposite issue. 9 years ago DH decided to do Movember, I dislike the facial hair so much I refused to sleep with him until he shaved it off. The resultant manic shagging in December resulted in DS.

No U at all, DH shaved his off a couple of years ago thinking I'd be surprised and pleased..I was so mortified

It was a proper decent beard.

Now he reminds me of our youngest’s teacher 😱

This is my worst nightmare. DH has such a beautiful beard .

Dh grows an immense wild mountainy man beard in the summer and Christmas holidays. His covid beard was exceptional. I get sad when he shaves it off.
