Watching a YouTube video about applying silicone sealant

That is an art. I need to do that..My shower drain hole bit has a bit of silicone sealer that shows in a small place..I pulled it the other day and it pulled out more..... and worry that it might leak now...

But doing silicone well is more worthy than any PhD.

When he decides I can put him down (I say when, but it’s really an if), I’m going to drink some water and possibly consider watching something on Netflix before he wakes up and requires more feeding.

Scrolling through Pinterest alternating with MN now after a day that included doing my toenails (trim, buff, polish), digging out the litter box, emptying several loads of recycling down at the bin, repotting an avocado plant that I somehow managed to grow over the summer, and a thorough kitchen clean up.

I may end up watching some gardening show or checking what's new on Netflix. Glass of wine to hand. I am not quite dead yet.

Put the washing away and hung up a new load

Just sorting a Chinese order out before slipping into slob wear in bed to watch random YouTube and thinking I should cut my toenails but can't be arsed..... DP and I will be joined by friend down from Bristol (not in a kinky way). We have lived in a shared house for the last 7 years and this week all our (younger) housemates have moved out to their own place to attempt adulting so at some point we may run naked and screaming around our newly empty nest because vodka. This will be after Friend from Bristol has either gone out or gone to bed and we will warn him first . Likely we will pass out among prawn cracker crumbs while imagining life as independent adults. It's weird.

Lying on the sofa with one leg elevated. I was diagnosed with a blood clot a week ago so spending a lot of time with my leg in the air lol.

I cut DS toenails in his sleep.. only managed one foot before he nearly awoke so promptly stopped for the night.. will do the other foot tomorrow

On the sofa in front of a lovely fire drinking gin. It has been persisting down all day and I think we might be flooded in tomorrow. We have four roads into the village they sometimes all flood. Under the bridge was starting to flood at 5pm.

Loving this thread. Relishing being in my own home after a lockdown stuck with my then soon-to-be ex, I'm 4 months into my separate life now, with DC home tonight. This eve involved all of them being pretty content, and once they were packed off either to bed or doing their own thing (depending on age!) I'm having a lovely couple of glasses of red and watching two episodes of 'life' on iPlayer, eating a home made pizza and enjoying a tidy house. Life is good! Tbh lack of tedious rock n roll or just consciously stepping away from FOMO is just perfect. And going to bed on my own. Oh the peace!

Sitting in leggings, 7 months pregnant, watching the crown on netflix, complaining that it's still too hot. It probably isn't since poor DH has put on yet another sweater 😂.

Just finished painting a witches cauldron and ingredients as a backdrop for my kitchen window halloween display. Got a bat wing, spider, bones, eyeballs, a weird looking plant and a ton of painted bubble wrap for my noxious potion ready to go.

Now I'm going to watch a French crime drama.

Shaving my son (adult but has autism) as he's looking a bit wolfy, and then will have a couple of glasses of wine.
Have to do it that order.. the covid cut I gave him after a glass was not great
Might continue battling with a piece of guitar music that is WAY above my skill level as dh is at work so he wont have to suffer my repetitions and swearing!
