They've been around for a few years now. Just like another stocking really! Usually new PJs to wear that night and a dvd etc. I don't bother, got enough to do thanks!

GinWithASplashOfTonic...I love the idea of kids making these things, my 2 make the wooden disc tree decorations each year and I love them, my youngest is obsessed with making sock snowmen filled with rice and googly eyes stuck on...they are very crazy looking but they are just manifestations of his wonderful craziness.
I agree with you about some of the kids efforts and offerings being better than Facebook marketplace/eBay etc!

There is something about the magic of Christmas which is when kids make handmade Christmas decorations. My parents still hang the paper angel I made at nursery 25+ years ago on the tree. It gets tattier every year but it's become a tradition on itself

Oh, I genuinely do want these! They're so cute. And I'm in a weird family of sprout lovers. I used to be the sole sprout hater but was 'converted' at about 15. I'd buy them for everybody's stocking.
