And then these bizarre things. The “reindeer noses“ - which I’m guessing are Maltesers - amused me as they just look like rabbit poos, as maltesers always do, and not even vaguely like noses... but then I noticed the red-wrapped one and a bit of me had some grudging respect.

@FatherTedsBankAccount my mum has those angels, pride of place on the tree every year for approx 25 years!

Will have to keep an eye on my local groups for a tat contribution as devoid of tat at present. If it's not already, this thread should become a Mumsnet tradition - what with Halloween in Oct we will get 3 months every year to laugh at the tat people make/try to flog. So far my favourite posts were that green doll (looks like some surrogacy went on between the Grinch, a Gremlin and Shrek, and then someone smacked it in the face with a big bat), and the 'Reindeer Dust' (reminds me, I have a big bag of sawdust/wood shavings as on the home straight of a house renovation - maybe I should bag it up and put it on Facebook as 'Reindeer Bedding' or 'Reindeer Food' ...even make up a few extra large bags to spread over the kitchen floor in case the reindeer crap on their way out!) Who knows, other people's crap might inspire me to develop tat marketing strategies, lol! My congratulations to @shitinmyhandsandclap for creating giggles in a world with little to laugh at.
