I’m up watching the first presidential debate from the UK. Who would get your vote?

Last I’ll say on this as really don’t want to invest any more time on it - our own leadership situation is a shit show too. I really do worry about the world. Daily.

If I’ve learned anything from this whole
Covid thing it’s that there’s always MSM narrative. There always has been. (Anyone who screams conspiracy theorist at that needs to check themselves.) Some papers/channels lean one way, others lean another. Social media feeds you algorithmic information that you’ll like, nothing impartial. It is so critical to do your own fact checking to have a balanced view.

It’s not a ‘cop out’ to say both candidates are scum. If the majority of the population came to that conclusion there might be an actual dismantling of the system and true change.

Finally here’s a link to the 8 allegations or sexual assault against Biden. He may not be acting further on his inappropriate behaviour towards kids but he’s still a man with a list of accusations of assaults against women. Again, highlighting the issues around Biden doesn’t mean I’m defending Trump. I’m just highlighting the issues around Biden. There is no good choice. The entire system sucks.

Why do you assume that everyone who watches that video must be 'ignoring the feeling in the pit of their stomach'?

I agree that the Tara Reade allegation, and the way it has handled in the media, is deeply disturbing. But jumping to the conclusion that Biden must be a paedophile based on an edited video, and instead casting your vote for a man who bragged about sexually assaulting women, is chummy with a bunch of white supremicists, practically ignored the epidemic ravaging his country and does everything he can to stoke divisions for his own ends is ludicrous. You want creepy? Try watching how Trump interacts with his own daughter.

I wasn't acquainted with PolitiFact until I saw this video of an american lawyer scrutinising their fact checking and finding them wanting.

I should add I was only vaguely aware of the accusations against Joe Biden, I read something about hair sniffing but didn't investigate further.

Biden will legislate women and women’s sport out of existence on day one. He knows what a woman is but he’s prepared to push half his country under a bus to suit the woke, woman-hating left.

It’s a tragedy the Dems have gone down this route when there are so many huge crises that they should be focusing on.

Of course Trump is loathsome but Biden and Harris believe boys should steal girls’ sport and life chances - their very lived reality. How is that different to David Icke level madness?

For those genuinely voting for neither it is like this ... do you want chicken pox or do you want small pox. Those are the only choices. you can't say "oh I'll have the common cold instead" These are your choices - Trump or Biden. Not voting means you don't care either way - if you are fine with that, great for you. I wonder how your children and grandchildren will judge your indiffence in this election.

Personally I think (as US voter) this is an existential election for the US. And even if Biden wins in a landslide it might still be an existential crisis for the US. Either way the republican party is fucked. It will eventually run out of white voters.

Could you imagine what the press would do if you replaced Biden with Trump in theses clips? And yet it gets ignored And many similar videos have disappeared from YouTube.

I don't know how anyone could vote for Trump. I'm done trying to understand it, I think his policies, comments, behaviour and lack of leadership skills are vile. His comments during that debate were horrific.

Biden. When he put himself forward, my first reaction was why didn’t he push one of his children instead as they’d surely be a better age. Then I looked them up. His first born, Beau, whom he believed could one day run for president, died a few years ago. I do wonder if his second son or daughter were ever considered or if it was just Beau. Having quickly scanned the Internet, I came up blank. Perhaps when a family is aiming for the top, you pick your first born or the most appropriate child and use the others as support tools and this may have left a vacuum. The GCs are too young. Right now, therefore the only option is perhaps still Biden senior.

The video clips are pretty gross and I wouldn’t let within a foot of a child unsupervised. I don’t want him as president. His attitude to guns and women from another clip I saw was also disturbing...

But he won’t turn USA into a fascist dictatorship...

I really can’t believe I’d even consider voting for a man like that. It’s stomach churning and sick making but what do you do if the two of them are your only choice?
