Is this a boy?!

Hi everyone

I had my 20 weeks scan a few weeks ago. At 15 weeks we was told boy At hospital was scanned for around 40 minutes, then at 16 a girl at a private clinic scanned for no more than 5 minutes and then at 20 weeks a boy at my anomaly scan which took 55 minutes .

She gave me this picture and said this was the boy bits. It is a front shot so the bladder is above it and I have circled what she told me was balls and penis. Do you all think this looks like a boy shot?

You don’t trust trained professionals who spent significant amount of time scanning you but you want the opinion of the unqualified masses based on one snapshot? What are you hoping to gain from this, do you desperately want a girl or something?

This was in the late 80's/early 90s. I thought No1 was a boy, she's 30 now, I thought No2 was another girl... he's 28. Recently, both my grandchildren were correctly identified as being girls. My daughter and I both thought no 2 was a boy. However at the 20 week scan, I said to my daughter, "I can't see a todger, I think this one is another girl". She's 3 and 1/2 and an absolute nightmare, I love both of them to bits.

I thought the scan was a head, so no idea how you could tell anything

I would be pissed off if that was the best picture from 2 hours of scanning! I would also say blurry head, possibly of a foetus, but am wondering what the black shadows/holes are.

I found out but mainly because I was so excited to finally be pregnant after IVF that I wanted to do everything available to me including all the things I said I never would - baby shower, sex scan etc.

Did it make me run out and buy loads of pink? Did it heck. I buy the clothes I like. If that means the 'boys' section for my daughter, it does. She has pretty dresses but also lots of dinosaur, car and jungle tshirts which apparently you can only like as a girl if it is pink :/
