Off the back of the thread asking about who you think is stunning. Who do you have a crush on that would make most people raise an eyebrow as they aren't what most people would call conventionally good looking?

I've always had a huge thing for James Gandolfini. If he was still around, he would probably be old enough to be my dad but I've always found him incredibly charming and just thought he was lovely.

Anyone else want to share?

Michael Stipe (REM)

Oh god I've always had a HUGE thing for Steve Coogan 🤦🏼‍♀️ Not as Alan Partridge I need to add.

Also, James Acaster and Greg Davies - funny must do it for me 🤷‍♀️

James Spader when he was younger.
David Mitchell, with the beard.

If there are more I’m clearly not going to admit it.

Ian McKellen as Gandalf (but only as Gandalf)

Oh, and Orlando Bloom as Legolas. But not as himself (it's the long blond hair and the elf ears, sorry).

Kenneth Branagh.

How could I forget Kenneth Branagh?! Loved that man since Peter’s Friends.

Also need to add the gorgeous Tim Minchin

Pinktruffle · 24/09/2020 21:40

Ooo I always thought Ian McKellen was a really good looking gentleman, old enough to be my grandad but so handsome!

Alan Rickman was lovely.

@Pinktruffle Have you seen James Gandolfini in Enough Said? Lovely film.

For me, Richard Osman, Matthew Wright, Martin Lewis. All seem clever, funny and genuine!

Pinktruffle · 24/09/2020 22:27

@Randomness12 being funny definitely helps! It's one of the main reasons I fell for DH. I've had a crush on many a comedian in my time!
