Off the back of the thread asking about who you think is stunning. Who do you have a crush on that would make most people raise an eyebrow as they aren't what most people would call conventionally good looking?

I've always had a huge thing for James Gandolfini. If he was still around, he would probably be old enough to be my dad but I've always found him incredibly charming and just thought he was lovely.

Anyone else want to share?

@oreshina

I went to a lecture once and Gordon Brown was the speaker...much to my surprise I actually thought he was quite sexy! Lol. I think because I was in the front row and he was quite charismatic! Weird huh?! When I was a kid I remember fancying darth vader and alvin from the chipmunks.
gordon brown was on GMB this morning and i thought he was quite attractive i nearly slapped myself

Greg Davies. Michael Palin.

A lot of these crushes don't seem that unconventional to me.

I've sometimes been bingewatching Chinese tv (subtitled), usually the fantasy/historical capers. And some of the actors and actresses are very nice to crush on. Especially when you have the actors in the historical costumes with the long, black hair. Very nice....

Brendan Gleeson. Live big teddy bear of a man, being able to make me laugh is a bonus.

I like Bob Mortimer and Paul Whitehouse.
The fishing programme they do together is very good.

Have always fancied the pants off Robert Webb. Even as man-child Jez in Peep Show. Drool.

Fancy the comedian Russell Kane as well.

Also, I totally get the Greg Davies thing! I think it's clearly humour for me too.

The80sweregreat · 26/09/2020 19:22

Rhod Gilbert. There is something about him , especially his rants about tog ratings on duvets! Bless him

Stinkyguineapig · 26/09/2020 19:28

Martin Lewis money guy. I think its because he seems clever and passionate about stuff

I've not really seen him v much but heard him on the radio and I think , while obvs very helpful and knowledgable, he might bore me to sleep!

Stinkyguineapig · 26/09/2020 19:30

Btw I'm glad weve got to page 3 and no one has admitted a crush on any members of the cabinet. I've been on these threads before and theres a disturbing few MN that find Michael Gove and JRM attractive ConfusedEnvy < nauseous not envy

PurpleFlower1983 · 26/09/2020 19:34

Geoffrey Rush - he’s old enough to be my grandad but I have a think for voices!
