She's tall and slim, model perfect, always made up, perfect hair, beautifully dressed and all she seems to do is rage at other women for their beauty choices. I know we can't help how we look but she just seems the biggest hypocrite. AIBU for thinking this?

Have you ever read any of her stuff or listened to her talk about it? YABU. She doesn’t rage against women for their beauty choices. She rages against influencers who are trying to make women feel inferior for not doing what they do and against corporations who peddle dangerous ideas and products.

She’s an Asian woman in a society that still values white features so I disagree that her being tall and slim means she knows nothing about unachievable beauty standards.

You know she has been a lot bigger in the past, has suffered an eating disorder, has been mentally unwell to the point of a suicide attempt and has a physical disability that causes her a lot of pain etc? She doesn’t want other women to go through what she has, she doesn’t want other women in her position to feel alone and beyond help. Your post assumes she has a perfect charmed life without weight, body image or health worries and that just isn’t true.

She is a massive bully and really quite cruel to other women. The way she presents herself as some sort of advocate for women when she is so utterly vicious in her misogyny is mind-blowing. She appears to care only about herself and her own image.

She is hypocritical, but not for the way she herself looks. Have you seen her social media? I had to step away from it, never read anyone so full of their self importance and thinking they were some sort of social activist who sadly doesn't seem to have an ounce of critical thinking skills or even the ability not to stick her foot in it.

It's a shame, I actually like her as an actress and I dont believe anyone should lose their voice for being (semi) famous, but bloody hell she needs to step back from SM sometimes.

Yes, she is not an advocate for women. Although she is a huge advocate for male sex offenders in women's prisons. No amount of 'your thighs are perfect if they are a size 6 or size 26' can offset that.

She’s a bully. Last year I read her comments being horrible about very thin women. I used to be very small (not by choice) and the abuse I suffered was crazy, she was perpetuating that despite being a slim woman.
She attacks everyone all the time and that is how she keeps herself in the limelight. It’s not okay.

She does it a lot. When a few women called Karen replies saying that they found people using their name as an insult hurtful, both her and all her followers piled onto her “ok Karen” and “shut up, Karen!” comments.

She is a bit of a bully.

What is interesting is that she and Kristen Bell don't follow each other on Instagram whereas the other Good Place cast seem to get on with each of them with mutual follows.

I don't know what happened there but Kristen Bell always comes across as friendly and laid back to me.
