Whether you agree with them or not... do you?

SchadenfreudePersonified · 11/09/2020 21:35

No - and TBH, I've never looked prettier . . . Grin

S111n20 · 11/09/2020 21:35

Boatonthehorizon

I feel.like a cowboy/ gangster / bank robber.
I'm very innocent and have never ever broken law.
I have to stop myself saying "this is a holdup...give me all your money" 😂

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

FredAstaireAteMyHamSandwich · 11/09/2020 21:37

No. It hides my double chin! If it potentially saves mine or another’s life, who gives a crap what anyone thinks.

RealityExistsInTheHumanMind · 11/09/2020 21:38

Wear one
Hate it
Totally believe it is a waste of time

BUT
Why would I feel a dick, everyone else is wearing them too

stayathomer · 11/09/2020 21:41

Yes. There's probably less than ten of us that wear them at the school gates and while most people act normally I notice some people staring (I had covid so this probably brings even more attention to me)

fruitbrewhaha · 11/09/2020 21:41

No, I can now wonder around the supermarket talking to myself and no one knows

Solongsugar · 11/09/2020 21:42

Love it. I think men are noticing my eyes more as there's a lot of eye contact going on. Never noticed it that much before.

DeliciouslyFemale · 11/09/2020 21:43

@Boozysoozy1

No, I like to make the scream face 😱 and no one knows
You need this. 😁
Do you feel like an absolute d**k in a mask?
TheGinGenie · 11/09/2020 21:44

I hate them and still feel self-conscious but I do wear them when I'm supposed to and just take it off as soon as I'm allowed to

Dominicgoings · 11/09/2020 21:46

No.
The dicks are those who refuse to wear them.

CorianderLord · 11/09/2020 21:46

No? I wore one when I had a cold on the tube before coronavirus so why would I?

ToastyCrumpet · 11/09/2020 21:47

No, I think people who don’t wear them without good reason are docks, though.

Simonfromharlow · 11/09/2020 21:47

@W00t

Anyway, nope, I don't. No-one can see me mouth breathing, so I like them! or my double chin
Exactly this hahaha
ToastyCrumpet · 11/09/2020 21:47

*dicks

ilovesooty · 11/09/2020 21:47

@peanutbutterandbanana

No, pretty much like I don't feel a dick when I wear a seat belt, or stop at red traffic-lights.
That sums it up.
DuaneBenziesvoice · 11/09/2020 21:49

No. But I think those not wearing them and those wearing one tucked under their nose are dicks.

Goodnightelizabethwalton · 11/09/2020 21:51

Yes but hey we mask wearers are thinking of others welfare so that makes for a feel good factor! There are other minor pluses, not having to bother with makeup especially lippy, no one recognising me so I can make a super quick trip to shops - no long chats!, I do kind of like hiding my face!

nonnocere · 11/09/2020 21:52

Bit of a shame that so many people are insecure about how they look, and are happy to cover up their perceived defects (which are probably visible only to them anyway).

I am nice looking, and I am sorry to have to cover up my face with something that makes me look like a dick.

The metal strip/glasses tip unfortunately doesn't work, btw, if you have a very small nose.

amitoooldforthisshit · 11/09/2020 21:52

they don't work anyway look at the infection rates shooting up.. I don't feel like a knob for wearing one but I do find them uncomfortable

BF2748 · 11/09/2020 21:53

I hope all of you lot who are moaning about those with medical exemption being dicks aren’t the ones who make it a misery for us who are actually medically exempt. You won’t always over hear a conversation so don’t presume everyone is faking it, ive had people confront me for my lack of mask and by the end of it I’ve made sure they’ve felt like a dick for being so rude, obnoxious and invasive. So interesting on here and social media how it’s always about be kind, it’s utter bollocks. Those without masks who are genuine have had a hard time and having to deal with social implications for standing out. So am I a dick for following guidance from my medical professional of what is best for me? Honestly you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Also idly wonder if people who wear make-up are happier to wear masks than those who don't?

I don't wear make-up, ever, and I loathe masks.

Burnthurst187 · 11/09/2020 21:57

Not really because most ppl are wearing one too and it's what decent ppl do as we've been asked by the government

I can't wait to get the bloody thing off when I get outside though

SunshineCake · 11/09/2020 22:03

Crap attempt at journalism/ article Hmm.

rosesandcashmere · 11/09/2020 22:04

I quite like it. I have to wear one for work and it's hiding the lockdown chins quite nicely
