Am AIBU to think Covid has changed us all?

I'm reading so many posts from people saying they're seeing their DH/DP's in a new light, and not for the better, people who are afraid to meet family, send their DC to school, just struggling with every day life to the point their MH is breaking down. Who would have thought a disease would do this to us?

I feel covid has highlighted differences between people even more. It's hell for some, has lots of silver linings for others.
I wonder if people will just float further away from each another in their own little bubbles and stop making the effort to interact? Then society will indeed implode on itself as @Wishingforanotherlife said?

Sorry, that sounded more doom and gloom than I intended it to be!
What I meant to say was that we need to make a conscious effort to keep interacting with people and staying in touch.
