Seriously stuck in a food rut at the moment and I’m so uninspired I’m rarely cooking a proper meal.

What’s on the menu in your home tonight?

I’ve defrosted some sag aloo I made last month. Going to have it with chicken breasts that I’ll bake in some sort of spicy. Maybe some chickpeas.

We're going retro' tonight - duck a l'orange, with hasselback potatoes, along with honeyed parsnip, green beans, asparagus, and baby carrots.

Roast chicken and stuffing, roast potatoes, veg and gravy. I may also make Yorkshire pudding, but haven't decided yet.

I am craving a roast dinner, but DH is cooking tonight and making chicken & chorizo kebabs with rice & salad. Sure it’ll be nice

We had a roast chicken yesterday, some today's lunch was left over chicken, which I heated through in a chicken gravy with some extra seasonings, mashed potato and broccoli.

Tomorrow I'm thinking of doing either veggie burgers or veggie sausages with chips. (We are vegetarian every other day, so have to work around that a bit, also we don't eat red meat or pork at all)

This thread has the same effect on me as being sat in a restaurant watching other people's orders arrive: I always want what they're having instead of whatever I've ordered, no matter how nice my choice is.

Tonight I'm having beef strips with tender steam broccoli, asparagus and brown rice

Roast pork, roast potatoes & parsnips with cauli cheese, cav nero and Yorkshires. Screwed up the cauli cheese though as only had mozzarella and cheddar mix so it’s a bit stringy. Will have Cartmel sticky toffee pud & cream later.
