I’ve been chucked out of bed

Pictures are the culprits who despite their small size, take up an alarming amount of room. I can’t move them, “let sleeping dogs lie”!

So cute. Don't move them just crawl in round them

frankie001 · 23/08/2020 22:33

I have but now can’t turn over. And one of them is snoring!!

WorraLiberty · 23/08/2020 22:34

I love the wallpaper. Legally it means the room belongs to the pets anyway and you're taking up space in their bed Grin

frankie001 · 23/08/2020 22:37

@WorraLiberty it’s hard having a full time job to keep them in the manner they are accustomed!! Thank you for the wall paper like!

OP posts:
Thorilicious · 23/08/2020 22:38

Don't know why you thought it was your bed in the first place...

Smallsteps88 · 23/08/2020 22:38

Your wallpaper kind of suggest it’s their room! Grin

Alexindiamondarmour · 23/08/2020 22:39

That room and bed looks so cozy OP. Just lie there with a sore back because you can’t roll over and enjoy the sound of the snoring!

TheWristBoundLatexBitch · 23/08/2020 22:40

With that wallpaper, surely it's their room

RedHelenB · 23/08/2020 22:40

Put them in their basket! Just tucked ddog into his with his night time treat.

frankie001 · 23/08/2020 22:43

Thanks for the nice comments, I’m glad everyone is on their side and I’d be unreasonable to move them. I couldn’t anyway, I love cuddles through out the night!

Not from me. Ew. I think YABVVVVU. And gross. I bet you have dog hair all over you all the time.

Sorry but that's how I feel and you did post in AIBU

frankie001 · 23/08/2020 22:52

@roxfox I did! I know dogs in beds isn’t for everyone.

OP posts:
RyanBergarasTeeth · 23/08/2020 22:52

Yabvvvvu op who do you think you are saying its your bed?! Its clearly their bed and look how cosy they are. I have several cats on mine. Bastards. Grin

Thomasina79 · 23/08/2020 23:05

I have to barricade myself in the bedroom at night (no latch on the door) against my cat, who is very determined. I wouldn’t mind him there at night, but he snores terribly. He does have several other beds, chairs, sofa to sleep on in any case!

I know, I know, I’m a terrible cat owner and somebody, somewhere will doubtless report me to the authorities!

leli · 23/08/2020 23:13

You are being vvvvu. I often have four dogs to share with plus DH. Our two plus daughter's two. But all the dogs lie on my side so I have to sleep knees to chest with one hand on the floor. I find the snores and occasional dreamy whimpers of the pack very soothing. The spaniel takes himself to bed at 10pm then runs up and down stairs trying to get us to join him.

lidoshuffle · 23/08/2020 23:22

I can't make out whatt sort of hound the dark brown hairy one is. S/he looks like a discarded long wig! Grin

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 23/08/2020 23:29

Dh often has to slot himself between the cat at the foot of the bed and the dog at my back.

xanthippe8 · 23/08/2020 23:44

Yet another reason/argument for separate rooms (I bet you'd miss them though)!

AriettyHomily · 23/08/2020 23:47

In the same situation, can't move at the moment but wouldn't change it.

coastergirl · 24/08/2020 00:12

The wallpaper says it all! Love it.

BitOfFun · 24/08/2020 00:19

My last lovely doggy used to happily tuck herself into the crook of my knee, and was no trouble. The rascal who is my current company is bigger and stupider, and would sleep on my head given the chance, so he stays in his own bed at night. I let him come in for a cuddle during the day if I'm having a nap though.

frankie001 · 24/08/2020 01:47

@lidoshuffle. Here are the naughty pair in all their awake glory. Chewy is a yorkie, Pomeranian, chihuahua. Mimi is a Pekingese.

By morning instead of having my bed to myself, I'm sharing with 2 children and anywhere from 1-3 cats (the fourth is afraid of my youngest still so he won't come in 🤣🤣)

Howallergic · 24/08/2020 03:26

Given my username, I'm just thinking swollen eyes and asthma attack. I personally think it's disgusting. Not that you're disgusting. But just dogs/cats on human beds is disgusting. Not my horse, not my argument. I would class you as a very silly human though.

TitsOutForHarambe · 24/08/2020 03:31

I think it's a bit bloody rich for you to shoehorn yourself into their bed and then complain about the lack of room. Luckily for you they seem to be quite forgiving.
