My MIL keeps asking if we have had sex 🤢

Literally as in the title. I’m due our baby soon and she has asked three times in the last week if husband (her son) and I have had sex yet.

Now personally it creeps me out being asked that and makes sex the last thing I want to do and husband has told her it’s weird her asking to which she just laughed and said “you’re my son”. She has asked again today and it is just weirding me out.

She never asked with any of our other children 🤢

We aren’t even close for her to think it would be an okay subject to broach.

shudders I think the amount of shuddering it has made me do will be enough to kick start things.

I think I’d get angry with her. If it’s a call, phone down and a text to tell her you’ll speak to her only when she stops asking wholly inappropriate and frankly fucking rude and personal questions. Cow.

Then ask if she wouldn't mind doing a couple of 90-degree washes for you - might need a few goes through....

Even if your MIL thinks it will bring on labour it's still highly inappropriate . The fact she's saying she's asking 'because you're my son' makes it worse Confused

I would address it because it is inappropriate and disgusting to ask. Either a really sarky response -no we only like anal -used the other hole to conceive or others have suggested
personally my response would be to get up and leave the room every single time and go LC. Boundary issues.

Once, my MIL turned up unannounced at about 9:30 one evening. We took a while to answer the door because we assumed it was next door. When we finally answered, she asked us if we've been having sex.

Completely inappropriate and not remotely funny.

My FIL asks stupid shit like this, but only to me and only when MIL and my H can’t hear. He’s quite predatory and I think enjoys making me uncomfortable. We do not get on. He’s said and asked some appalling things in the past. Ugh. Fucking weirdos, the lot of them.
