Every wall covered in Kate Forman fabric (apart from the expense at £90 a metre)?

Not a dolls house, it's been done by an interior designer:

SteveArnottsbeadyeyes · 21/08/2020 14:54

I think it’s fine tbh.

LunchBoxPolice · 21/08/2020 14:55

The fabric is a bit busy for me. I love the furniture and the floor though.

Lweji · 21/08/2020 14:56

I'm shocked those pieces were put together on purpose by a "designer".

Also, the toilet room doesn't seem very hygienic with those walls. That's a mould breeding paradise.

CountFosco · 21/08/2020 14:56

It's beautiful but not to my taste. But the wallpaper is a small part of that, it's the rest of the decoration that makes it twee.

Lweji · 21/08/2020 14:56

I like the tallboy, the pot, the chairs.

I like them, just not in front of that wallpaper.

yesterdayschild · 21/08/2020 14:58

It's lovely. Leave it.

TatianaBis · 21/08/2020 14:59

The rest of the house is fine. The kitchen is a bit impractical but maybe they don’t cook much.

Whosaysyoucanthaveitall · 21/08/2020 14:59

I don’t normally like pattern but I really like that. I’d never have the nerve to put it on my walls.
I love fabric wall coverings

minnieok · 21/08/2020 15:00

Too twee for me, but I wouldn't care for a night

Backarackhams · 21/08/2020 15:01

I think it's quite sweet, reminds me of my dear Grandma's bedroom.

KingOfDogShite · 21/08/2020 15:05

I like the rest of the house a lot more, especially that bathroom! 😍

BlueJava · 21/08/2020 15:07

Gosh I think that's awful - I'd be getting that changed asap. But I admit all walls in my house are white and all floors are cream!

ChangeThePassword · 21/08/2020 15:07

I lived with worse.

I love the style, I personally prefer plainer walls, but would have no trouble 'living with it'

DianasLasso · 21/08/2020 15:07

The wet-room. OMG, the wet-room. Mould-tastic! Envy (not envy!)

SJaneS48 · 21/08/2020 15:08

There are elements I like and those I don’t but no, too pink for me

CleverCatty · 21/08/2020 15:08

LOL - I thought the same - I used to work with interior designers/architects and if this is their work then it's not very well done in my opinion!

Still each to their own re taste.

TheVanguardSix · 21/08/2020 15:11

It gives me vertigo. But it's not terrible by any means. It's just got a bit of the 'looking through the window of a mining ghost town house' vibe to it. The furniture is what makes it all a bit heavy on the eye. But it's not your furniture is it? If you lose the wall art and the chest/chairs, that will be a big improvement. Still, I'd get bed spins looking at those walls every night and every morning.

HexyAndIKnowIt · 21/08/2020 15:12

A high end interior designer that cant spell 'dining' as well:

We designed the through fireplace to link the kitchen and dinning room

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 21/08/2020 15:13

I could live with everything except the walls.

Darcysshirt · 21/08/2020 15:14

I like it, lots of character. Much nicer than a Hinch grey type monstrosity with crushed velvet everywhere. It's timeless so won't date.

TheVanguardSix · 21/08/2020 15:15

Oh, just looked at the whole house. The bathroom... how many ghouls live in those drains? Creepy! I hate the bathroom. I can smell the damp.
And I can hear my skull crack as it hits those hanging lamps. It just misses the mark, doesn't it? I've seen better interior design on Ikea's website.

TatianaBis · 21/08/2020 15:15

Yeah the wallpaper would not be good with a migraine or hangover.

It reminds me of a line from Middlemarch:

“And the red drapery, which was being hung for Christmas, spread itself everywhere like a disease of the retina”.

SurferRona · 21/08/2020 15:17

Ugh, signs are awful.

But how big is the bed?! Shock Is it three pillows wide?!

What is that even called, and where do you buy a duvet and linen to fit?!!!

Vivi0 · 21/08/2020 15:18

I hate it!

The wallpaper makes the room look so cluttered.

I would not be able to relax in that room enough to go to sleep.

Too much going on.
