Every wall covered in Kate Forman fabric (apart from the expense at £90 a metre)?

Not my taste but it is a cute vintage look and I could live with it.

MordredsOrrery · 22/08/2020 17:50

I tried to imagine it but it felt a bit creepy - like living in a museum exhibit.

Crystal87 · 22/08/2020 17:51

No. Looks like something out the National Trust.

TatianaBis · 22/08/2020 17:53

@SJaneS48

Must make them look very light and airy *@TatianaBis*!
No it makes them look like a lunatic asylum.
SJaneS48 · 22/08/2020 17:59

Or the inside of a battleship @TatianaBis?! I like an all white interior (but am not allowed one!) but other than that, no thanks! Hated the magnolia walls of the 90’s.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 22/08/2020 17:59

I quite like it actually.

keffie12 · 22/08/2020 18:31

Not my taste

FairfaxAikman · 22/08/2020 18:58

I wouldn’t choose to decorate that way myself, but yes I could live with that for a time.

But then I bought a house with a radioactive green bathroom!

(And the only reason I’m not still having to live with it is a massive flood meant fixing it was an insurance job.)

FelicisNox · 22/08/2020 19:03

It's not awful and if it is a period house or hotel fair enough.

Would I want to live in that full time?

Absolutely not. It's too dated and Chintzy.

The room itself is massive so that's a plus but I like to reside in a boutique hotel vibe so I would be stripping those walls ASAP £90 a roll or not.

StoneofDestiny · 22/08/2020 19:07

Don't fancy fabric on walls - dust trap!

Branleuse · 22/08/2020 19:08

i could live with it, but I wouldnt have chosen it personally. Im not a fan of patterned wallpaper

Barney60 · 22/08/2020 19:28

Nope not really, perhaps could stand 1 wall. love the floor and bed. would not paint it grey wouldnt suit style. Think id change soft furnishings and things on the wall over the bed.

LadyMacbethWasMisunderstood · 22/08/2020 19:34

DD1 has a room in her dollshouse just like this. Are you sure it is not a dollshouse?

Leontine · 22/08/2020 19:36

I don’t particularly like the decorations but the wall is lovely.

MrsCrosbyNRTB · 22/08/2020 19:36

That shower room looks like something from Silence of The Lambs

nopuppiesallowed · 22/08/2020 19:39

No. Waking up to those walls would give me an all day headache!

pantherrose · 22/08/2020 20:46

I quite like it, it looks good quality and cosy.

onlinelinda · 22/08/2020 22:18

I'd want the walls plain, not patterned.

Saz12 · 22/08/2020 22:32

It’s a dolls house.... surely? Quite a nice dolls house, but...

anothermansmother · 22/08/2020 22:42

I could until funds meant that I could change it, it's a bit much on every wall.

Boireannachlaidir · 22/08/2020 22:48

Can't bear to sleep in a bed with pictures above or anything hanging over or above my head.

LillianBland · 22/08/2020 23:10

I never used to mind, until I was about to get into bed one night and spotted a huge spider crawl out from behind it and down my headboard. 😭

Yes, I think it looks lovely

Celestine70 · 23/08/2020 01:45

Not my cup of tea. Quite horrible imho.
