Every wall covered in Kate Forman fabric (apart from the expense at £90 a metre)?

I wouldn't choose it, but, in truth I get dressed / undressed in my room and I sleep there. Couldn't get worked up about not being the decor of my choice.

AnneKipanki · 21/08/2020 14:12

Like not lie .

SnuggyBuggy · 21/08/2020 14:12

It's not to my taste but wouldn't be too hard to change. Is that a giant bed or just a good angle?

squanderedcore · 21/08/2020 14:13

I like the wallpaper , the linen press and the chairs and mirror, but I'd lose the signs, the blue and white ginger jar (or whatever it is) and the bed!

JoeCalFuckingZaghe · 21/08/2020 14:13

It’s a bit too matchy matchy for me, but it’s got some personality, and there’s no grey in sight. I’d live in that room forever for that bed and space tbh

EnoughAlready2020 · 21/08/2020 14:13

I really like it but I think the room needs modernising to put the wall covering into place. Everything seems red and a bit oppressive! Change rug and curtains so much lighter shades, ie cream and change the furniture.

CoffeeRunner · 21/08/2020 14:14

The walls wouldn’t be my choice but I could live with them.

A four poster bed with no roof or canopy however - no! I would be constantly looking at it thinking it wasn’t finished 😂. It would annoy me intensely.

Tempstheyareachanging · 21/08/2020 14:14

I like it!

SRS29 · 21/08/2020 14:15

Wallpaper yes...bed no...it's awful!

QuestionableMouse · 21/08/2020 14:15

It reminds me of a hotel. Kinda like it.

ZaraW · 21/08/2020 14:15

@Laaalaaaa

Paint it grey? It’s a beautiful room.
Grey would make it boring.
DianasLasso · 21/08/2020 14:17

Not my thing at all. I'd constantly feel like I was in a 40s film noir. If I bought a house like that, 90 quid a roll or not, it would be coming off.

Inthemuckheap · 21/08/2020 14:17

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Please stop with the grey.
QueenOfPain · 21/08/2020 14:17

Looks like a dolls house.

beachysandy81 · 21/08/2020 14:18

I think it's OK. The wallpaper is a bit much on all the walls so maybe I would paint all the walls and just keep the wallpaper behind the bed as otherwise I think my eyes would go crazy! Not sure what colour would go, a pale neutral colour I suppose.

WinterAndRoughWeather · 21/08/2020 14:18

I love it, totally my style, though the print is a bit large for me. I prefer the old fashioned sprig prints from the 80s - Georgian / Victorian revival Laura Ashley.

God knows why they did it in fabric rather than paper though. Aside from the exorbitant cost it must gather dust.

dwiz8 · 21/08/2020 14:18

Tbh I love it

unmarkedbythat · 21/08/2020 14:19

Meh, don't like it, seen worse.

Poppins2016 · 21/08/2020 14:19

I wouldn't choose it but could live with it, as long as it suited the character of the house and there was different furniture.

LillianBland · 21/08/2020 14:19

All I can think of is measles.

LionLily · 21/08/2020 14:20

Something would have to give and I suspect it would be all those silly fussy cushions on the bed. Replace with nice neutral crisp looking bed and lose the flouncy. Who has the time spent making the bed up like that in the morning and then fighting to find your actual pillow at night.

beachysandy81 · 21/08/2020 14:20

But being lazy I would probably live with it for a few years until it needed re-decorating anyway!

halcyondays · 21/08/2020 14:20

I like it. What is there to object to? If it was grey I’d want it changed asap.

WinterAndRoughWeather · 21/08/2020 14:21

Where is this OP? I would guess some fancy house turned private hotel.

Manolin · 21/08/2020 14:21

Is it the inside of a bed and breakfast in Scarborough?
