According to the radio 4 show "More or less" this morning some students might not get they're teacher predicted grade. As there's another assessment I'm distraught. I have so much pinning on this tomorrow :-(

And all before 9am my email clearly worked 😂😂

noblegiraffe · 21/08/2020 08:58

Great news Menora! Good to see flexibility on their part!

Menora · 21/08/2020 08:59

Agree - they took her based on such a good history result and art ability not just English

TheFallenMadonna · 21/08/2020 09:00

Great news Menora!

I hope this is helpful to anyone else struggling with similar issues not to give up hope!

Lowhangingfruit · 21/08/2020 09:43

Thanks took your advice. I'm glad they changed their mind on the media course :-)

@Menora Glad that you have got a good outcome. Also in a similar situation and have raised it with the school and waiting to hear back. Not holding my breath though.

@Menora

That's brilliant news!! I hope DD really enjoys it.

Did you get the rankings? Did it seem like it was a teacher problem in the end? (Seems likely given her attitude!)

Scruffyoak · 25/08/2020 12:42

Good job menora.

My son has just changed from college to sixth form. Bit confused tbh!

Menora · 25/08/2020 12:49

So they gave me rankings but I don’t understand them! I haven’t asked for clarification yet, still waiting for response from the teacher. The exam officer said it was not marked incorrectly, which I knew it wasn’t anyway.

2 for English Language and ranked 5 for English Literature

What does this mean?

Menora · 25/08/2020 12:52

Does this mean 2nd in the class? The groups of kids who got a 4 in Lit?

If so this makes sense.
