To ask - how many people have you had sex with?

I'm so intrigued to know what the average number is. I hope some of you won't mind responding.

I'll start. My number is 12

Around 30, all men, cheated on most of them. I really liked sex and was immature and didn’t behave very well in relationships when I was younger tbh, would have one boyfriend at uni and another at home etc. Have been married with dc for ten years and wouldn’t do it now.

No idea! I slept with many before I met now DH and chose to settle down.

No, no real sexual connection, just feeling horny and them being pleasant company. ONS and no strings attached.

Don't know why but I feel weird saying the actual number. But I'm in the single figures (just). I have a question for those who's number is 1 and you're married/In a LTR - do you worry that one day you'll regret not having a higher number?

1. I'm late 50's, only ever had sex with the man who is my dh. We met when I was a teenager and married 6 years later. Why would I regret not having a higher number? Just 1 partner doesn't automatically mean boring or dull. And, for me anyway, the emotional connection is important.

One, married for 34 years.

When I was young, free &single, I was free & single.

No idea but probably over 100. I was very promiscuous as a teen/early 20s. I had loads of fun at the time but I regret it a bit now and wish I had kept things like that for people I really cared about

I did keep a list when I was younger, god knows what happened to said list

I think it was around the 17/18 mark, 4 relationships, 4 randoms on 2 different girls holidays, 2 holiday romances on different holidays, one or two one night stands, and quite a few mistakes....

More than the Pope and probably fewer than the Prime Minister.

Nearly 50. Not really sure how it got so high, most of those were between the ages of 15 and 26. A fair few one night stands (maybe 10-20?) and the others I dated or had FWB relationships with.

I can't remember. There were 3 relationships at least 2 years in length & one 12 year relationship.
When I was single, I travelled a lot for work & had a sizeable amount of one night stands.
There were never any drink or drugs involved, there was no abuse or coercion & I had a lot of fun. I would say 95% of the time it was safe sex, I got tested for STDs regularly, never caught anything & never had any pregnancy scares either.
It was no strings attached sex - completely different to sex with some I love.

Oh if it's not just PIV then more like 10.

I only became sexually confident later in life. Didn't have sex for the first time until I was 23. I spent 7 years travelling and working in various countries so was determined to enjoy my youth as much as possible.
Now I've settled into "adulthood" a bit more I don't have the desire to have quite as many ONS as I once did but I have no regrets. Not every experience was good but I had some amazing ones and in all sorts of weird and wonderful locations.

As a teenager 1F friend of my older sister, didn't object at the time, but many years afterwards felt I was taken advantage of (but she certainly knew what she was was doing, on multiple levels!)
