That's it really! I'm not one of these people who scours the internet all day for competitions to enter, but I do enter quite a few and have only ever won a voucher for sports clothes, free tickets to a local attraction and a Legally Blonde wig!! Is it all just a big con/data harvesting exercise or do people really win amazing prizes?

I have won loads of great stuff over the years but my best was a 7k all inclusive holiday to Barbados which was amazing!

Iverunoutofnames · 05/08/2020 08:49

2 holidays. Nothing since and I still enter all the time.

AKAanothername · 05/08/2020 08:58

eosmum I kept the flat for a few years, but have since sold it.

BrandyandBabycham · 05/08/2020 08:59

Quite a lot over the years, although I don’t enter as many as I used to. The best things were a week’s holiday to Greece, a week’s holiday to France which my parents took & a weekend at “ The Ickworth” country hotel.

2 tickets to see the football team my partner supports against their rivals.

I won £200 in Amazon vouchers when I completed a survey at the bottom of a uni email, although I'm sure I'm the only person to have filled it in Grin

My DM won an Apple Watch on a local radio station a while back

Esssa · 05/08/2020 09:05

Tickets to the Royal Armouries in Leeds from a competition on the Calendar news program when I was a child. Think its the only competition I've won, not that I've entered many.

roses2 · 05/08/2020 09:06

Two nights at a 5* Leading Hotel of the World spa mountain hotel in Switzerland - amazing experience!

makingmiracles · 05/08/2020 09:07

Years ago on here I won 4 tickets to see noddy live, I’ve won £150 pair designer prescription sunglasses and a ticket to a local alcohol festival.
I enter quite a few comps but haven’t had any wins in recent years!

WonderTweek · 05/08/2020 09:21

Haha. This is a bit niche but I loved it. I won a signed Twin Forks CD and Spotify premium. It was a photo competition and the band used three of my photos in their music video. Smile

Also won a signed football shirt in our local club's raffle. Think I still have it somewhere...

Coldilox · 05/08/2020 09:24

£1000 cash in a Christmas raffle

NoAdventureNoTime · 05/08/2020 09:28

A season ticket for the Arsenal ladies team through MN, I completely forgot about it till they arrived in the post.

My sister has won an inflatable ball pit swimming pool thing from one of the Take a Break style magazines.

I can't believe someone won a flat, that's amazing!

SagelyNodding · 05/08/2020 09:33

As I child I won 2 colouring competitions! Each time a stuffed toy and once a video of The Snowman!
As a teen I won a spa day with my first and only facial, plus a massage.
I've also won a 'guess the weight of the loaf' and won said loaf (7.6kg-massive) 🤣 and once a posh turkey!
I literally never win money though-not even a few quid on a scratchcard...

vampirethriller · 05/08/2020 09:36

£100 Tesco voucher in the British Heart Foundation raffle last Xmas.

MusicianTom · 05/08/2020 09:38

I was on holiday on a Scottish island and the local lifeboat had a fundraising fair/open day, with lots of different stalls. There was a Guess the Weight of the Giant Cheese competition from the local cheesemaker, and I won! Got a lovely box of assorted local cheeses.

We won a trip to see a big artist play in America. It was an amazing once in a lifetime trip. My dh won it after texting a number on one of those banners at a concert of the artist.

NerrSnerr · 05/08/2020 10:24

Over the years I have won quite a bit
£100 Kwik Save vouchers
Tickets to see Scissor sisters and Kasabian
Tickets to see Al Murray
£300 amazon voucher from Mumsnet
Ollie the owl and some books from Mumsnet
A Cheltenham literature festival goodie bag
Clothes show tickets and some underwear
Some control pants

I haven't done any competitions for a while, I should do more.

Rosieposy4 · 05/08/2020 10:27

A years supply of horse feed, amazing prize and I was fairly broke at the time so very helpful.

SingleHandSue · 05/08/2020 10:37

When I was 11 I won tickets to see New Kids on the Block.

Mum was at work and I was being babysat at my Nans and heard a phone in competition on the radio.

We were dirt poor and didn’t have a phone at home, luckily my Nan did so I entered (more for the thrill of using her fancy phone)

I won!

When my mum picked me up I was so excited to tell her but she wasn’t so happy. She thought she’d have to let me down because there was no way we could afford to get there.

Luckily though the prize included coach travel which picked up only a 15 min walk from our house.

We had a brilliant time.

Enoughnowstop · 05/08/2020 10:53

Won a holiday in the Sherwood Forest once. Really enjoyed it.

PsuedoSatisfactionBaby · 05/08/2020 10:57

A teddy in the school fair when I was about 7. To be fair I don’t enter competitions so I can’t complain I never win anything!

luckylavender · 05/08/2020 10:58

A day trip on the Orient Express

Peccary · 05/08/2020 11:03

I enter a few, mostly holidays but never won. A colleague of DH won the ITV competition, 40k, got the call while in the office
