About the disposal of my exh's clothes?

He left the country in aug last year after we split in nov 05, but was in and out of hte house for long periods of time, as he was still on the lease and once he came to see the kids he would just refuse to go

Anyway he finally went in aug 06 after anasty incident which ended up me calling the police. He took a load of stuff with him saying everything else he didnt want (he was going to thailand and sayign he would probably never be back as it was too painful to live in the uk )

So i chucked his stuff out months and months ago.

Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago and i get an email saying he is back in the uk on 8th october. Today i get an email saying he expects to be able to come and get his winter clothes.

I have replied saying i dont have any, i binned them months ago, all i have are some old jackets of his, but he isnt welcome here to come and collect htem , something else will have to be arranged.

Whats the odds he starts calling me all the names he can think of now?

I dont quite see why he thinks i should have kept them for him tho, i am not a museum to him nor a storage centre

Or am i being unreasonable?

he cant seem to grasp that i have not stopped time since he left and frozen the hosue as a memorial to him

for example, because i have to move out next week for 3 weeks, he emailed telling me to get something from a certain cupboard in my living room and lock it away as it was important to him

i mean ffs if it was that important he should have taken it, and he just keeps assuming things are still as they were.

No you are not. He told you he did not want the stuff and that he would probably not be back in the country. As far as I am aware, you are not clairvoyant. He really is a great big tit, isn't he?

If you start right now, by the time he arranges collection, you will have finished sewing prawns into the lining of all the jackets still in your posession.

i guess i could go and dig the bin bags out from the end of the garden of stuff waiting to be skipped, and give them all back to him mouldy

he says my anger will destroy me and that he isnt angry now so i shouldnt be

i mean its funny really, and i know he's injured now, but i am still worried about his imminent arrival

the last time he was in the uk he wouldnt leave me alone, harrassed me non stop

luckily i will not be at my house for 3 weeks, and he doesnt know where i am going to

plus i made teh decdision not to tell kids he was in the uk until he actually was, but teh fu*ker only emailed dd2 (10) to tell her he was back soon, so now they are all excited about it

oh and espite me telling him clearly that he is not welcome at my house, and he keeps saying ok, he is STILL saying he has to come here for this that and the other, and it will be fine

it really really floors me at how he genuinely seems to think i should have kept everything for him

does he think time stopped when he went? hell no i partied for bloody days!

Just email him that, when he said he didn't want anything else from the house, you donated it all to the Tsunami Fund as you thought that most appropriate.

Do you have a mutual friend who would pass on anything else (such as the odd thing in the cupboard in your living room)???

i emailed saying he said everything else he didnt want, iirc, so i dont have it, apart froma few jackets, and that if he wants those they can either be collected by a mutual friend or dropped somewhere

the thing in the cupboard is a camcorder which has some footage of hte kids on it

suddenly its the most important thing to him

oh apparently this is permanent, so he is leaving his gf and baby in thailand to look after themselves, i assume
