Isn't there something we can do? I remember a post on here, years ago, by a mum who was very frightened and her post stood out to me.

It isn't right that the Jewish community have to defend themselves alone here - can't we do something to show support and let people know they are not alone in this?

What is the difference between Liberal and Reform? Or is Reform part of the Liberal movement?

Concrete - I think there are about as many orthodox as progressive converts each year.. The reason the orthodox don't encourage conversion is that it is taking on extra responsibilities. So if you are a Christian or an atheist and you eat a ham sandwich, that's no issue. But you converted to Judaism and then ate the sandwich , you would be breaking the rules. We don't believe that Judaism is the exclusive truth, so why put yourself through all this hassle...
