To ask for photos of your wedding dress?

Trying to choose mine, looking for inspiration!

Would be particularly interested to see dresses worn by ladies with my body type (tall, reasonably slim, biggish boobs and hips with a flatter bum).

But mainly just wanted to be nosy!

I'm thinking something like this, I love the shape and the sleeves. Would it be too hot for a spring wedding?!

I think I depends on the weight of the material, gave you tried it on? I didn't have a disco so no dancing in my long sleeve dress.

We're having a dance afterwards! So it needs to be pretty comfy, which is why I'm thinking a sheath style. I havent tried it on, just thinking along the lines of that shape!

This was mine 13 years ago. The back was all black instead or red, and all our guests wore black and white so the pics looked fab. Lots of beautiful dresses on here.

I had a very traditional RC church wedding in Poland - had tiny poppers so my “sleeves” were detachable, although they really didn’t cover much!

Mine was similar to this. Technically a bridesmaids dress I think so only a few hundred quid, but it felt AMAZING.

Endoflevelbaddy, i had alfred angelo too! Mine was blue in the back but a slightly different design to yours. I think they went out of business a few years ago 😔

Here's mine. I was so happy and I paired with white lacy ankle boots by irregular choice.
Splashed out and got a suit made for dh. He looked fantastic(ally hot).

I want to get married again after seeing some of these dresses 😆.

When I got married I felt a bit young and foolish in the wedding dress shop so literally went for one of the first ones with a 'that'll do' attitude. I had always regretted it.

I’m getting married next summer OP and tried on a few dresses before lockdown.

This dress is the one that made me book a boob reduction. Thought I’d show u a rubbish one after all the lovely ones here 😂

@Wolfgirrl my dress came from Ebay a bargain at £50! The gloves and feather stole also came from there. It wasn't traditional but I loved it.
I did go a bit Ebay crazy in the run up to my wedding😊

This was mine. I ordered some extra lace and had a top made to go with it to cover my arms.

I am 5ft 6, a size 8 hourglass with large boobs that look way out of proportion in most things. Also have the wide hips with flat bum going on.

I’m getting married in winter so wanted sleeves with lots of coverage and a proper back so I can wear a bra.

I have chosen Allen Lynette by Sottero and Midgely and I love it but pink and blingy is my thing. I was also looking at sheath styles as my friends were telling me it would suit my figure- True Bride have some GORGEOUS dresses in this style.

Wouldn't suit me at all and not a style I'd consider (due to never being able to pull it off) but it's an absolutely stunning dress and you look amazing in it.

It was the same when I got married @emsyj37, strapless dresses were what most brides were wearing along with hoops under the skirt.
Mine was an empire line duchess satin dress with straps. Jewelled bodice. My train was detachable and made of chiffon with embroidered jewelled flowers. It was really unusual and haven’t seen anything similar since.
