To ask for photos of your wedding dress?

Trying to choose mine, looking for inspiration!

Would be particularly interested to see dresses worn by ladies with my body type (tall, reasonably slim, biggish boobs and hips with a flatter bum).

But mainly just wanted to be nosy!

Forgot to say I am 5 foot 9, have big boobs and wide hips. Was very slim for my wedding. One DC later I am not as slim

This - my friend who is a dressmaker whizz copied it in some old lace I bought in France.It took some cleaning but she worked a miracle. The sash had a bow at the back. No train or veil. I am straight up and down- no waist and smallish boobs. 5ft 7
I loved it. It hangs in a dress bag at the back of a wardrobe in one of the attics. Not sure what to do with it really but can't bear to get rid of it.

Here's mine - got it from a BHF shop with a bridal section and had a seamstress add the sleeves from the train lace. Love it still.

I'm 5' 7" and average build - I wanted a tea length or ballerina length dress that wasn't strapless, but back then EVERYTHING was strapless so in the end I had this one made for me.

This was mine and I still love it. It was my second wedding so I wanted something different.

This was mine. It looks a lot stiffer in this picture as I imagine the model had a hoop on, but I didn’t have one. It had quite a long train too, which I hadn’t planned on having.

It wasn't what I expected to choose but I felt amazing in it. Loved it.

Though it never made it to getting cleaned since most places wouldn't take it...

Mine. Maggie Sottero with a cathedral veil and Maggie Sottero overlay top. Felt like a princess all day 😊

This was mine. It's Essense of Australia. They still make it. I wore it with straps on the shoulders rather than off and a massive cathedral length veil. I'm 5 ft 4 but with boobs and hips. It accentuates the curves in the right places.

I want to re do my wedding day all over again !
Mine was just a sample sale dress, but I loved it so much.

I get married next year, this is me in the sample size at the shop, so should look better when it’s the right size and altered. I am 5ft 7 32E with wide hips, my bum isn’t flat though.

@Izzabellasasperella I think you win most unusual! Where did you find yours? Did the arm warmers come with the dress? I do love a fur stole! If my autumn wedding had gone ahead as planned I wouldve worn one I think.

Just wanted to say about the train thing - mine had a loop sewn inside so that I could pick it up & loop it round my wrist to avoid it trailing around during the reception but my hands were still free

I have a very similar figure to you, although I’m not tall. Ok that’s a lie. I’m fat now but when I got married I was slim but with big boobs and hips and a flat bum. Neither of these are my dress, but it’s very similar. It was a vintage Edwardian dress and I LOVED it. Mine looked almost exactly like these but had a v neck in front.

I'm thinking something like this, I love the shape and the sleeves. Would it be too hot for a spring wedding?!

We married abroad and didn't want to take a ton of luggage with us so my wedding dress was a gold cocktail number that my sister designed and made for me (unfortunately can't post a pic as it's outing for both of us). We thought we weren't wedding people and too old for fuss.....but fuck it, I wish I had a big white dress 👸🤦‍♀️

Might have to renew our vows post covid 😁

This is my dress although I had it in a dusty blush pink which was gorgeous. Had a 4 year old at the time of our wedding, so the jig was well and truly up in terms of wearing a white dress 😉

This was me in February at my wedding. Although a winter wedding it was a mild day, I'm not at all body confident but I adored this dress and felt fab. Wish I could do it all again 😢
