To ask for photos of your wedding dress?

Trying to choose mine, looking for inspiration!

Would be particularly interested to see dresses worn by ladies with my body type (tall, reasonably slim, biggish boobs and hips with a flatter bum).

But mainly just wanted to be nosy!

My whole wedding was arranged in less than 2 months and we only had 3 guests. I didn't want a proper wedding dress as it felt too over the top for the type of wedding. I ended up getting this one from ASOS

This was mine - never has my waist looked like that before or since (or ever will again). Would wear it daily if I could get it past my thighs now

Oh wow! Thank you for taking the time to post. All gorgeous dresses but for different reasons. You've all made me think about matching dress to venue - I'm having a church wedding (RC, generally needs to be quite modest) but the reception is in an orangery-style building. So I'm thinking a sheath style with detachable sleeves?

Will take a look Patchwork - your dress is beautiful, and I think would be flattering on my shape.

Loved mine - Pronovias. It made me realise how boring in must have been being a a women in the 17th/18th Century. You literally cannot move that well independently or get anywhere quickly!

Mine was a Maggie Sottero in champagne and I had the sleeves put on (I had them baggier than most people would because I’m clumsy as hell and would have just torn fitted sleeves lol)

I’m 5’9” with big boobs and hips, was slim-ish then 😂

I won't be posting my dress from the 80s Princess Diana number..... I do suggest trying on a lot of different ones including styles you don't think will suit you.

I was six months pregnant (planned a shotgun wedding a year in advance!) and neither of us were fussed about a traditional fancy wedding, just walked past the shop one day and noticed it and thought it was lovely, and it fit my bump.

I like that I can still wear it to pop to the shops or out for lunch.

On this photo it looks a bit like it makes me look as though I have saggy boobs but it didn’t in person thankfully. Absolutely love this dress, one of the nicest dresses I’ve worn. Perfect for the wedding we had.

This was mine. Not me in the image 🤣🤣 I am 5'9 had lost quite a bit of weight but quite curvy, large chest etc. It is so beautiful. It was the last one my shop had so I got it half price, absolute bargain!!

Forgot to add, we arranged our wedding in eight weeks from engagement to wedding day and only had six guests/spent about £400 total. So very low key. Best wedding ever, we loved it!

15 years ago but still love it. Very simple. I'm 5'9" size 10-12, medium boobage. Fit like glove straight off the peg! That's not me in the pics by the way (I wish! 😂)

Mine was very similar to this - typical 'princess' gown. I felt a million dollars in it and my own body shape is exactly as you've described.

In my opinion whatever dress you choose, a veil always sets it off beautifully

Here is mine :) Very modern, small city wedding with reception in a quite swish, monochrome style hotel. Dress fitted in perfectly in my opinion and I loved it. Not visible here but the back was the lace detail continued with a slit as well.
