AIBU Neighbour- youngish with 3 small toddlers. They have food deliveries between 6am-7am. Recently their van has arrived between 6 and 6. 30am. Neighbours are not going out to work, no reason for needing an early delivery. I won't say anything but I still think it's a bit inconsiderate especially now when delivery slots are easier to get.

I get it that it interrupts your sleep and I would be annoyed too but then again my dh and kids run riots every morning and am completely oblivious to it all 😂

Perhaps for your neighbour they like to get their shop early and have it all put away before the kids are up, 3 young kids is HARD WORK!! no kidding

Foxinsocks1 · 09/07/2020 23:52

Maybe it’s the only slot they can get. Where I am I still can’t get delivery slots as they book up 3 weeks in advance!

I'm with you OP. 6 am is early. I have the refuse collectors at 6.30am every Monday morning collecting from all the rubbish stores in our apartment block right under my window for a good ten minutes. Never fails to wake me and can never get back to sleep. Most couriers etc only start from 6am. Posters pretending they'd be perfectly content at being woken up by a loud delivery at 6am are winding you up.

ouch321 · 10/07/2020 00:09

Typo - most couriers only start from 8am sorry

OP, please do come back and tell us how you have their daily schedule?

Vivana · 10/07/2020 00:53

No I posted about it the other day this is not me lol

OP I understand where your coming from it's annoying but not much can be done about it.

vixxo · 10/07/2020 01:16

Yeah I'd find that very annoying.

@MrsEricBana

Blimey, harsh responses. Surely no one wants crates crashing around outside their window at 6am?
No, they don’t. But they also don’t want the family next door to starve.

Least you are late for work on Monday's.

Oh my Lord 🤦‍♀️

Iwalkinmyclothing · 10/07/2020 09:53

How often can this even be happening anyway? One day a week at the most?

trixiebelden77 · 10/07/2020 10:13

Our deliveries start from 5am. There’s no crashing or banging though, how odd, what on earth are they doing?

I do 50% nights. Other people get to make noise when I’m trying to sleep after 13 hrs of keeping critically ill children alive. This is what happens when you live amongst others.
