We have a biggish bathroom with a tiled floor. It's always grotty - dp is hairy and gets dried in there.

I usually clean it on my hands and knees with a cloth / wipes but there must be a better way?

Brush and mop

Veronicat · 03/07/2020 18:41

Hoover and steam mop. Quick and easy.

TheFormerPorpentinaScamander · 03/07/2020 18:41

Hoover and then mop with a spray mop.
Although I don't have tiles.

sarge89 · 03/07/2020 18:42

Flash speed mop!

Randomfires · 03/07/2020 18:44

Oh come on....it’s not hard! Mop. Why are you on your hands and knees cleaning your husband’s hairs off the floor anyway. He can do it

TeddyBeans · 03/07/2020 18:44

With an antibac wipe cuz my bathroom is tiny. I'd use a steam mop if I were you

Aquamarine1029 · 03/07/2020 18:47

I sweep or vac first, spray with bleach and then steam mop.

Roselilly36 · 03/07/2020 18:48

Steam mop, I have the shark one, really easy & effective. It can get down the side of the loo, where triangle head steam mops can’t reach.

flirtygirl · 03/07/2020 18:50

Hoover, then on hands and knees with a cloth and my homemade spray full of dettol. Actually my kids mostly do it as one of their chores.

Undies1990 · 03/07/2020 18:53

Surely a cloth is available for your DP to use to clean up after himself.
Why are YOU cleaning up HIS grotty mess?

Letshavesometea · 03/07/2020 19:04

Mop!

TattyByeTattyHead · 03/07/2020 19:05

I hoover and then use either a Flash Speed mop or a Flash Powermop (have nothing due to several bathrooms and tiled kitchen floor too) - I do it every couple of days so never gets dirty particularly and takes a few minutes to do

TattyByeTattyHead · 03/07/2020 19:05

*both not nothing!

Oh don't worry, I'm not his slave. It's just one of my jobs - he has plenty including some scummy stuff I don't want to do.

Just feels a faff dragging a Hoover up and a mop and bucket. Think I need to rake out the long forgotten steam mop

Hands and knees with a cloth like you. I like it :)

vanillandhoney · 03/07/2020 19:18

Sweep it, then steam cleaner with disinfectant in it. It's swept daily (we have four pets) and steam cleaned once a week or so.

BobbinThreadbare123 · 03/07/2020 19:23

Hoover or a dustpan and brush. Then steam mop it. Tiled floor! Also freshening up the grout has done wonders for it.

The80sweregreat · 03/07/2020 19:26

Hoover then mop.

FinallyRelief · 03/07/2020 19:27

I vacuum then steam mop

twilightcafe · 03/07/2020 19:28

Flash Speed Mop.
Use with a damp microfibre cloth or floor wipe to pick up dust and hairs.
Then go over again with the speed mop wipes or another microfibre cloth and detergent to clean the floor.

TheChosenTwo · 03/07/2020 19:29

Steam mop. Well I don’t but other people do Grin

NiceLegsShameAboutTheFace · 03/07/2020 19:30

As infrequently as possible – and definitely only when it annoys me. I've got plenty of other things that I'd rather be doing Blush

wowfudge · 03/07/2020 19:31

We have a Karcher hard floor cleaner - I do tend to vac the bathroom floor first though as it's worse than most of the other hard floors in the house for hair and dust. I use a floor cleaner in the water tank and add a few drops of zoflora too.
