get himself over to the States to account for his actions and to give evidence for those poor victims of abuse. He's a bloody disgrace.

At that time women were falling over themselves to have him. He had no need to coerce or have a friend fix him up with a girl

The dumbest response I have seen on here.

KonTikki · 04/07/2020 11:37

Prince Andrew should attend the US embassy in London to assist the investigation concerning Epstein in child trafficking.

Should, as a result, the US authorities apply for extradition of PA to America to answer charges in relation to this case, then this should certainly be tied in to the extradition of Anna Sacoolas to this country to stand trial for causing the death of a British teenager.

No extradition of Sacoolas, no extradition of PA.

@Doggybiccys

@DomDoesWotHeWants - unfortunate username for someone who is spectacularly missing the point. Rape is about power not sexual desire. Likewise sexual abuse of minors does not happen because the perpetrator can’t get a woman. Please educate yourself on such matters before posting unhelpful comments that are victim blaming and offensive.

I'm far better educated on the subject than you are, as is blindingly obvious.

Have you read the actual facts of the case and not the made up nonsense? I doubt it.

Pretending Andrew's behaviour was worse than it actually was is foolish.

Doggybiccys · 04/07/2020 11:43

The saddest thing in all this is the underlying belief that sex without consent, ie rape, is “not that bad”, as long as the victim is not beaten up or left naked in a field or something. Men (and some women it seems) are completely ok with girls and young women being trafficked because it was on a luxury yacht or beautiful island. They could just lie back and think of England/ the money/ the luxury lifestyle that they’d never otherwise experience. Some of them probably believe JE did them a favour! The entitlement and misogyny just reeks. And those saying PA shouldn’t cooperate because of AS and Harry Dunn - really? You are happy for two wrongs to make a right? Let a potential rapist walk free because the USA fucked over poor Harry? It’s not a race to the bottom.

Doggybiccys · 04/07/2020 11:45

@DomDoesWotHeWants - you specifically implied that PA didn’t need to rape anyone as he had women throwing themselves at him. Which part of that shows you are “better educated” about rape and sexual abuse?

Doggybiccys · 04/07/2020 11:49

@LockdownLump - apparently not - it is us that aren’t getting it. Attractive rich men don’t need to rape minors as they have the pick of the bunch it seems Hmm

Now, come on...engage some brain cells. Raping trafficked children is far more convenient because their media silence has been vouched for by their rich, powerful and connected criminal pimps.

This is such an ill informed and worrying thing to believe.

Rapists don't rape because they simply want to have sex. They rape because they want to rape.

It's like when people used to say priests abused children because they weren't allowed to get married and have sex. No, they abused children because their sexual preference is to abuse children.

Sexual abuse is about more than just sex. It's about the predator's enjoyment of power, control and manipulation.

The fact that no one else has ever implied it. Rapists are freqent offenders. Andrew has a long history with many, many women. I think if he was a rapist someone other than the ones involved the law case would have mentioned it.

AlternativePerspective · 04/07/2020 12:30

@ slangofoillmochara The term “cretin” refers to a person who is physically deformed and has learning difficulties because of congenital thyroid deficiency.

knittingaddict · 04/07/2020 12:32

Women being trafficked can't consent, so it's rape. It might not be rape as you see it Dom, but thankfully most people are more enlightened about what rape is now. It's not just strangers in alleyways fgs.

You think attractive, powerful men don't force women to have sex? It's about power, not sex.

Where have you been for the last decade?

knittingaddict · 04/07/2020 12:35

I feel I must add that I don't think Andrew falls into the attractive category or that powerful either. He's just an average looking man with a huge sense of entitlement, below average intelligence and no real job. A buffoon in other words.

Haenow · 04/07/2020 12:36

@TheFaerieQueene

Why can’t some people realise that this isn’t about the victims age, but the fact she was trafficked for sex, which makes it rape. The fact she was 17 is horrific but the legal issue is - she could not give consent because of her situation, so those who had sex with her raped her.
Quoting this because it’s all there is to it. Very eloquently put.

What a massive assumption you made there. Because I think it unlikely, given the actual evidence, that one man is probably not a rapist you assume I think no men are.

Such a stupid thing to say.

@DomDoesWotHeWants - when you’re in a hole, stop digging. You are coming across really badly here. You are it even making sense. Every rapist has to carry out his first act of rape - you don’t instantly become a repeat offender. Many many abused and raped women don’t reveal what happened to them. Partly due to ill informed people like you who seem to think that men only rape if they “need” to because they can’t get a woman otherwise. Plus they know they will invariably have to defend themselves against statements like your - why would he rape - he’s got a girlfriend? And you were wearing a revealing top and you went to the party quite happily. Blah blah blah.

Bluemoooon · 04/07/2020 12:59

I wouldn't go to the States expecting justice. All that plea bargaining - I could see G Maxwell selling him down the river to save her skin whether he was guilty or not. He'd be nuts to go over there - but then he's daft enough to....

Pompous horrible man who thinks he’s relevant. Guilty as hell.

KetoWinnie · 04/07/2020 13:16

He knows he isnt relevant but he can hide, for now.

When the queen dies, charles and william mightnt allow him to hide behind being royal.

They know the public is disgusted by andrew's moral repugnance

corythatwas · 04/07/2020 13:41

He was known as Randy Andy back then and it was open knowledge what he was like. Different times back then

Prince Andrew is the same age as my dh, 3 years older than me.

The allegations refer to a period AFTER 2000! Unless you are very young indeed it is a period you will remember.

Did we really all believe that it was ok to traffic 14yo girls or coerce them (or anyone else) into sex? (Did we believe that in the 90s for that matter? In the 80s? In the 70s?) No, we did not.

Did we suspect that some rich and powerful men probably got away with things they shouldn't because they were protected by the media and the establishment? Yes, we certainly did.

Did we think that was ok? If you are too young to remember 2014 or thereabouts, I can assure you there were a fair few of us who didn't.

knittingaddict · 04/07/2020 13:43

What knowledge do you have that isn't available to the rest of us? There is testimony from witnesses and did you see his interview? If he wasn't guilty why did he tell such ridiculous lies? And then there's his behaviour after Epstein was found out.

I'm not the one who sounds stupid.
