get himself over to the States to account for his actions and to give evidence for those poor victims of abuse. He's a bloody disgrace.

The allegations refer to a period AFTER 2000! Unless you are very young indeed it is a period you will remember.

Thank you for that corythatwas. I keep forgetting that point in all the pointless arguing with certain people.

AlternativePerspective · 04/07/2020 14:34

Regardless of people’s opinions. Calling someone who hasn’t actually been convicted of a crime a rapist is venturing very far into libel territory.

Whether people believe he is or isn’t, he is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, not the court of social media.

Mummyshark2019 · 04/07/2020 14:36

Disgusting man.

ProfessorSlocombe · 04/07/2020 14:37

He is more than welcome to go to law, if he feels slighted. Just like Oscar Wilde.

Mrhodgeymaheg · 04/07/2020 14:48

It's no wonder Megan and Harry buggered off. Probably wanting to wash their hands with any association with this man.
Disappointed in the rest of the royal family for not urging him to do the right thing. I always though that they have no involvement with anything as they are supposed to remain impartial, but this just shows that they are out of their depth and actually bring no benefit to our country other than being a black hole to throw tax payers money down.

DomDoesWotHeWants · 04/07/2020 15:07

@Doggybiccys

@DomDoesWotHeWants - when you’re in a hole, stop digging. You are coming across really badly here. You are it even making sense. Every rapist has to carry out his first act of rape - you don’t instantly become a repeat offender. Many many abused and raped women don’t reveal what happened to them. Partly due to ill informed people like you who seem to think that men only rape if they “need” to because they can’t get a woman otherwise. Plus they know they will invariably have to defend themselves against statements like your - why would he rape - he’s got a girlfriend? And you were wearing a revealing top and you went to the party quite happily. Blah blah blah.

Oh dear. You are really reaching now - not me that's digging. You're the one pretending I said things I didn't. How silly is that?

DomDoesWotHeWants · 04/07/2020 15:11

This thread is getting more and more ridiculous.

The accusations being thrown about by some are utterly without foundation. What is the matter with people?

Look at the evidence not the made up stuff from American lawyers after money. Can people really not see through them? Can you not see when people have been coached?

So naive.

Cailleach1 · 04/07/2020 15:32

Now you mention it, PA did sound coached with ridiculous 'evidence' in his interview with Maitlis. The explanations in his defence were very silly indeed. He went to Pizza Express in the afternoon so he couldn't have gone to the club at night. He never went there without a shirt and tie when pictures showed that to be untrue. He never did physical when photos showed that to be rubbish. The sweating, the buying drinks etc.

netflixismysidehustle · 04/07/2020 15:50

Yanbu.
If he called the US Embassy in London I bet they would happily have him interviewed there in no time.

netflixismysidehustle · 04/07/2020 15:54

I can't believe that there's no photo of the attendees at this party- even if it was just Beatrice and Eugenie. Digital cameras weren't common place but you'd think a member of staff or customer on another table would recall seeing him at the PE in question around that time. I would have thought that the RF would have happily paid people to come forward with these memories when the whole country was laughing at this excuse after the interview.

billysboy · 04/07/2020 16:12

he could offer a deposition to be taken in London where the US lawyers could ask what questions they wanted to rather than just the questions his smart lawyer agree to

Nothing to hide , no problem !

TreezaMendoza · 04/07/2020 16:25

Agree, OP. I don’t think people have a clue about half the stuff the royal family has got up to over the decades. They have nothing but contempt for the British public.

Also think the Queen’s very public show of support for him is a disgrace.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 04/07/2020 16:31

I feel for the Queen as he has embarrassed the Royal Family

In light of the Queen's how-dare-you-criticise-my-son two fingers to the nation when this blew up, I'd save your sympathy frankly

For me, whatever her views behind closed doors, anyone who organises public horse riding and trips to church to showcase their support in these circumstances forfeits any right to respect

If he'd been coached he'd have done a ot better than he did. Such is his arrogance that he thought if he told his side that would be enough. He didn't even express sympathy for Epstein's victims.

If he'd been coached he would have done.

It's accepted in the US to coach victims and that has obviously been happening. But I'm not sure how ethical it is for lawyers to persuade clients to change details or enhance them.

Anon778833 · 04/07/2020 16:36

The Queen isn’t above mixing with Jimmy Savile, the pedophile and child trafficker.

RabbityMcRabbit · 04/07/2020 17:00

@DomDoesWotHeWants, you need to watch the Epstein documentary on Netflix, it really does spell it out for you on there..

longwayoff · 04/07/2020 17:05

Different then. 1985. Mandy Smith.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 04/07/2020 17:06

Aren't there people who were closer to Epstein & likely knew more?

Well, one of them (Ghislaine Maxwell) has just been charged

Unfortunately, given the number of "big names" involved with Epstein, I'd say the chances of her ever seeing the inside of a court are nil. Ditto any chance of her "singing", when so many have a vested interest in keeping her quiet

And the US returning Sacoolas in exchange for Andrew may or may not be a good idea, but given there's no way mummy would allow that it's not going to happen

Puzzledandpissedoff · 04/07/2020 17:14

If he'd been coached he'd have done a lot better than he did

Not necessarily; you can only teach people what they're willing to learn and it may be that, without the coaching, he'd have been even worse

I don’t think people have a clue about half the stuff the royal family has got up to over the decades. They have nothing but contempt for the British public

Absolutely. By their own lights it's probably not so much what's been done that's wrong - it's that they've allowed the mask to slip

BelleHathor · 04/07/2020 17:32

I imagine Prince Andrew can't step foot in America as he would be arrested. Epstein had multiple properties wired for video and audio and all his "guests" were filmed for blackmail purposes. It is rumoured both Epstein and Maxwell worked as spies. Andrew can't make a statement as the FBI apparently has a lot of Epstein's blackmail videos.

googledontknow · 04/07/2020 17:40

@fuckinghellapeacock

powerful men have always fucked vulnerable women/children and lied about it. He's repulsive. The sad thing is that I now find the queen a grotesque peadophile apologist. Revolting woman.
Yep
googledontknow · 04/07/2020 18:01

It's a disgrace the hatred that MM gets, and is vilified just for being mixed race and daring to marry a grandson of the Queen.
Yet the paedo son of the Queen is defended on this mostly female forum Hmm words fail.
Would those of you that defend him have sent your daughters across the world to 'provide' massages to all the old perverts? Shame on you.

Mehmen · 04/07/2020 18:03

@longwayoff

Exactly. I’m not saying it’s right and if I wanted I could go down the historical abuse path but I don’t want to bring up shit from the past. The 70s and 80s were horrific for women and young girls, but it was what it was. I’ve been punched in the face by men who I’ve said no to. It was shit
managedmis · 04/07/2020 18:04

Totally agree with the op.

managedmis · 04/07/2020 18:05

^

Yup. Utter plebs, the public.

It's still Lord and serfdom.
