I've not said anything at all to her she's been working from the start of lockdown, clients in and out all day. She's a hairdresser yesterday I was popping out to the shops two clients turn up and one has the kid with them. She's putting all her work up on her social media I just think it's shocking.

Aibu to think this is just taking the piss?

I opened this thread expecting she was going to be in a much older profession...

Incidentally, I understand the difference in the tax and NI treatments of a self-employed sole trader, a self-employed person operating through a limited company and an employee. I understand it because I’m a finance professional. REALLY?? OMFG!

And your point is? There’s no need to be aggressive. Projecting again, I suppose. Huh??

Would you feel better if furloughed employed people received less support? Erm, no! I don't hink I even hinted at that. If bigger organisations close the economy will tank.

But 5+ million peole are self employed. A bit less disparity, or disparity based on facts would have been preferable.

You might stand a better chance of being taken seriously if you avoid being rude and insulting.

Mind your own business.

She can do what she likes - focus on your own life.

I think you need an hobby. What she chooses to do is up to her. She obviously needs the money. i am self employed and have struggled and its people like you who have too much time and opinion. I bet most people who are on benefits, employed or furloughed would soon be out working under table if their payments got stopped, so dont be too quick to judge. Hun.
