Sorry for the Mail link but just reading that Jimmy Carr has spent thousands on a hair transplant. This isn’t about his gains from tax avoidance but AIBU in asking why?? He was never a great looking chap so I am just surprised that he is trying so hard now. It is so obvious and looks awful.

I’m not a huge fan of his, but think he looks fine, honestly don’t get why anyone cares either way

Personally, I think he looks great for parting with the dye job that had reached the limits of feasibility. His description of his previous appearance as a snooker playing vampire was spot on!

I don't think his hairline looks any different? Unless he was particularly clever at styling it to cover the receding part before?

Jimmy Carr has said some truly vile things about lots of people and his "jokes" are cruel and misogynistic . Why is everyone jumping in to say that comments about his hair are "unkind" and "nasty". He's made a very good living from being both those things. I'm sure he can take it.

It's his money he's spent on his own hair/appearance. His choice.
Nothing to do with anyone else.

I've had alopecia since I was a teenager (female).No hair transplant but wear a full Rapunzelesque head weave.

I also have a face like a burst welly boot.

Are only non-uglies and tax dodgers allowed to want hair then? How did I miss this??

And yet people defend women like Katie price saying she can do what she wants to her own body. It's only a bloody hair transplant to replace hair he's lost, so what. I'm sure he'll grow it longer again and dye it and he'll barely look any different.

Nice to see the bitter brigade out in force! He just looks like any other person at the moment, like he's been forced into a DIY haircut and maybe usually dyes it 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don’t think it looks obvious/unrealistic at all. And he can do what he likes with his hair, don’t get why people concern themselves with this sort of thing.

Gosh, didn’t realise I would upset people with what I thought were mild comments. I have actually seen JC live twice! And no, I am definitely no oil painting myself.

Maybe they are 'mild comments' but the tone is a bit nasty. Not sure what you were trying to achieve.
