Sorry for the Mail link but just reading that Jimmy Carr has spent thousands on a hair transplant. This isn’t about his gains from tax avoidance but AIBU in asking why?? He was never a great looking chap so I am just surprised that he is trying so hard now. It is so obvious and looks awful.

Could you please share with us @Millicent10 the aesthetic threshold for acceptance at which a person is allowed to do a hair transplant? Do you think you would reach that threshold?

I think he looks better because he hasnt dyed his hair. The jet black look was really harsh on him.

He looks better without the hair dye. Lots of men who are on TV dye their hair though.

This is a really horrible thread, OP..

Mocking people - men - for hair loss and their response to it is a actually a really nasty thing to do.

If I lost my hair, I'd be trying to address it too.

It’s a different colour and style but I can’t really see any difference in the hair line. Hopefully he had it done in the U.K. so spending some of his money in this country.

If I were going bald and had the money I would definitely have a hair transplant. I’m a woman but making the best of yourself isn’t limited to women.
Wayne Rooney looks better with hair as do a lot of men.
If a man is ok with hair loss that’s absolutely fine too.
I wouldn’t judge a man on whether or not he had hair loss but equally not going to judge one for having a hair transplant.

His hairline doesn't really look any different to me... Different cut and colour, but still receding...

Oh but then it linked to James Nesbitt. Massive difference, though the no hair look suits him better.
