To think even on a hot night it's absurd to sleep with no covering?

Dh is snoring away, on top of the sheet we are using on the bed on this roasting night.

It's discombobulating. Clearly the man is a psychopath.

I am glad to hear this is a joke thread, it really did worry me that people were shocked at sleeping nude in this heat. The op sounded sincere!

Gravity blankets are the best!!! Heavy like a duvet but thin enough u don't overheat.

Very hot = just gravity blanket
All other temps = gravity blanket with duvet over the top

I have a gravity blanket, but I've always run hot, just like my dad and DS do, too.

In this weather, I've been sleeping with no coverings, even the gravity blanket is too warm.

In fact, I think the gravity blanket wiill be warm enough even in winter, without any extra covering.

I shove the sheet to the bottom of the bed but wouldn’t sleep on top of it as I might need to pull it up in the night if I get cool. I like the fan blowing cool air too. Even in winter I’m not too keen on the duvet after a few minutes. Love to feel cool air on my body.
Maybe I’m a bit weird.

I'm in shorts and vest with the duvet bundled on top of me to chest height. DD is sprawled across 2/3 of my bed in a nappy and has kicked her blanket off. DS slept in shorts and had kicked his blanket off by the time I went to bed and checked on him. DH would be naked and no covers, but fell asleep on the sofa! I think my family are all psychopaths.

I had to reread this, as I thought it said DH and I was 😲🤢 as to why he was wearing a nappy. 😳

I'm sleeping on my settee almost completely naked. No protection whatsoever. Love it.

I always have to have my bum covered. Dont know why, I just cant sleep if it isn't. I can have everything else uncovered but my bum has to be, even if it is just a sheet covering it

I'm always sleeping on top of the covers!! I get too hot from night sweats/hot flushes and can't cope with any covering over me! Anyway other half wraps himself up like a cocoon and sweats away and it's a double whammy's 🙄

The best thing for sleeping in hot weather is a large bed all to yourself

Pretty much always sleep without a cover, specially at the moment. It is BOILING. Love it though.

It is utter lunacy to sleep with no covering. What would protect you if a robber came in with a machete? That’s what I always think. Because quilt covers are well known guard against such things. I’m with you!

I slept naked (I do that all year round anyway) but with no cover last night.

I'm worried. Will I have been darked on? Will the spiders have rubbed their willies on me during the night? What about the wardrobe monsters?

All seemed well this morning but ..... could there be delayed consequences?

It was over 30° in the bedroom last night but I still had to have something over my shoulders! I also wrapped all the cool blocks and laid them down the bed though to cool the mattress.

My husband said they were making his side too cold, so they were mine, all mine .... (manic laughter - not all psychopaths sleep on top of the covers ....)

I am so happy that I'm not the only one who has to have some coverage....even when melting 🥵

It's ok if lying in front but not back as spiders could tweak nipples in the night!

On a side note, I've found my tribe!! DH thinks I'm a total weirdo for NEVER forgoing a sleep covering. I'm completely vindicated!!

I always have to have a tiny bit of sheet/whatever covering a part of my body, generally just over the hip because I'm a mentalist, but as I can have a nap on the duvet during the day with no covers at all it's obviously completely normal to sleep with no covers on at all when it's mad hot.

Normally even when hot, I sleep with a leg tucked round the duvet for that little bit of protection from who knows what. Last two nights sleeping on the sun however, this has gone out of the window completely and I can’t even stand touching the sheets I’m lying on never mind have them cover me

I'm normally in the same boat as you. But last night, for the first time in my 31 years of life... I too fell asleep on top of the covers!!!

I HAVE to have a cover. Im never exposed to the darkness. I do t find comfortable.

You all sound totally barking. If it's hot, no covers, bollock naked. I reckon all you women who don't want to be naked beside your men, are afraid he'll give a sneaky poke while you're asleep.
