Girl's name Florence, Vera Lynn or Hope ? please help!

In covid times is it ok to call a new baby girl Florence ..after Florence nightingale Hope or Vera Lynn. Which do you prefer?

I haven't read the full thread as I didn't want to read pages of people shitting over my name.
My name is Hope.
As an adult I love it and tbh actually hate when people have the same name as me. I've only met one other person in real life with the name, she was quite a bit older and said it was due to her family being religious.
Though, it is so overused on television. Every time someone has a baby in a soap it's called Hope.
I did get people taking the piss alot when I was younger, pushing me over and saying they HOPE I had a nice trip, so original. Had it a few times from adults too, but I just think it's silly now.

I love my name. I love that its unique and I'm just generally happy with it. I think it suits me and I grew in to it.
Not sure if any of that helps.

Side note, I like Florence too, but not VeraLynn.

DH has an Auntie Vera, skin the texture of leather, colour of creosote, drinks too much, she’s a vile, vicious old bag..but each to their own..

Florence is awful, but not quite as bad as Vera.

Hope is okay.

Lol well I did like hope, but this thread has shat all over that notion (but not for my children, we have a name matched with anything like Destiny, hope, faith, willow or blossom would make us sound like were really out there hippie types- a bit hippie but not that out there!)

Florence is a very harsh sounding name and not one I would pick.
Vera Lynn is even worse and the poor child would be forever plagued with people singing “will met again” at her
Hope is nice and if I had to choose one of those three names I would go with Hope.

Hope is too short for me. If you like Vera and would consider something longer, I'd suggest Elvira or Veronica as being names that could be shortened to Vera.
