Laurie 'I’ve no idea. I’ve never tried.
However the labour market can usually be relied upon to reward skills that are a) important to generating income b) in low supply.'
So you're an out and out capitalist then.
I thought that Corona would have opened people's eyes a bit to the fact that Pryor people who are VERY important are often undervalued and underpaid.
I work in an industry gushing with money, I'm based in the city. I am reasonably well paid by the standards of that industry. (Not bad for a mere cashier in a bookies, eh?). And I can tell you that there is nothing special about a lot of the people I work with. What I know, having worked in public sector, private sector, and third sector is that reward is not linked to ability to deliver, city is still full of a certain 'type', and as for ability to generate money, well those lovely banks with all their high 6 figure salaries Fucked most of the world with the crash.
I know you won't change your mind because you clearly have that mindset that high paid = good intelligent hard working moral person and low paid = literally worth less.
You are wrong. But, I'm sure you would disagree :)
< waves to hopingtobeamum! I loved working in the bookies! Very fond memories :) >
