DH is a middle aged, bit over weight white bloke from East London who loves his football. He's also a decent man, not racist, good father and husband. I wouldn't put up with anything less. Maybe that's the difference.

Don’t assume all their wives and girlfriends are like them. While many will be, I’m sure there are others at home praying that her husband/boyfriend isn’t too drunk and violent when he comes home. I imagine, looking at the behaviour of those bottom feeders, that there may be a lot of frightened women and children at home.

A tiny number of GC feminists have been arrested for “disturbing the peace” at women’s rights protests, how well do you think it would go down if I flooded every single thread in Feminist Chat discussing the violence and misogynistic abuse of some TRA with “but some GC feminists have committed crimes and protested too!!”

I don't have an agenda. I am referring to last week when bicycles were thrown at the police and horses resulting in a police officer having a punctured lung, broken ribs etc. Also taking down statues. All of it is bad behaviour. Decent behaviour is raising these things as issues, discussion, debate, maybe raising petitions asking for certain statues to be removed or asking for education to include teaching history including slavery and the details of our colonial past.

It's not been a peaceful anti racism protest. It's been awful. Now the other side have got involved. Takeaway the violence and destroying/defacing property you would have had a protest many people would have supported. It's going to now be remembered as a violent protest.

I don't know why there's an assumption that women can't be racist too. Their wives know and support it I imagine. They've just let the lads go off on their own to their day out like they were away to a football match.

I wonder where all these men are on a day to day basis. I've never met anyone like this or with these views and I've done a lot of jobs and lived in a lot of places incl all over london. I just don't know where they are in society on a day to day basis.
