How is it blaming women for their behaviour?

It is judging them for choosing and staying man like that as their life partner though and rightly so because the likely hood is they then share similar beliefs or at the very least don't see them as wrong enough to want to leave.

I of course am not including any woman who have ended up with such a partner before they knew the truth and are now stuck in an abusive relationship.

I was just looking at footage of this...and the one up in Glasgow. There isn't a woman to be seen! It's extraordinary that an entire protest group demographic appears to be entirely made up of white middle-aged men! There are a few 'youngsters' sure, but in the main these are men way past their prime simply out for a fight! Horrible, horrible people! I'm in my 50s and these will have been the very same men who were part of the terrible 80s organised football hooliganism...when these 'fans' were at the height of thuggery. It was dreadful then and it's dreadful now!

What is it, do you think, that makes men (and it IS men!) behave in this appalling way??

(Obviously I'm not saying ALL men!! Just read my angry rant and realised I sounded like I was having a go at men in general. I'm not! Also I know that women have these views too...but they tend not to behave in this thuggish way. And I know that doesn't excuse their awful right-wing beliefs either, which is disgusting 🤷‍♀️)

@GinWithRosie my husband and I were just talking about that! Hardly any women to be seen, as far as the videos I’ve been watching on Twitter are concerned anyway.
We went to the BLM marches last Sat and Sun (and are now self isolating before anyone has a go) and it was at least 50:50. If anything I think there may have been slightly more women and girls on the march.

I have a school mum friend who is absolutely lovely but her partner has a long standing history of football hooliganism violence which I can never understand why she would be with someone like that although I guess people can change.

In all seriousness though, this is not nice to watch at all. My daughter is a police officer and is battered black and blue on a regular basis...this past few months have been awful for police officers and the past few weeks really bad! She's been dealing with Covid related DV, been deliberately spat at and had men (again!!!) gob snot in her face telling her they are positive CV-19, she's been out in full riot gear for the past 3 weekends and hasn't had a day off in over a month. She's 26, weighs 8 stone and is a tiny size 4 at 5'8. As a mum, it's hard to watch your baby dealing with this every single day. I just can't get my head around what makes people behave so, so badly. I just can't.
