I've been to a fair few counter protests against thee sorts of people. Normally a fair few women there.

I would guess that current circumstances mean many of the women who would attend haven't got childcare options, not that any of them seem focused on social distancing.

The ones I know who are with these right wing football hooligan types are generally very nice and often glamorous. I can’t say whether or not they share their husband’s views. I do get the sense that they let their partners get on with it as they are busy bringing up the children. The men are also generally relatively well-off with their own businesses and into their clothes.

I doubt most have wives and if they do I bet they fall into two catagories either:

1. scared abused women who wont stand up to them/leave them
   
   or
   
   
2. easily led girls of a groomable mentality (usually much younger teens, niave and willing to do anything for a man who gives them attention - this tends to be the type you see with EDL morons around here, its creepy and unfortunate)
   
   then of course there will like be a few token women (either married or unmarried) of that mentality too although you can see by the photos women make up the minority

I've met a few women with really extreme views like cancer isn't a good enough reason to not have a job, people are only unemployed because they are too lazy to start a business, if tests show a baby is going to be disabled abortion should be compulsory. So it wouldn't surprise me at all to find women with nazi views.

TBH I do imagine that most of them are the same thugs who get involved in punch ups on a Saturday night or at football matches, they probably go from protest to protest and were probably part of extinction rebellion last year and something else the year before.

More to the point though, imagine having to admit that you’re the mother of one of those types...
