I need to cut my lawn. Do you think I'll need to do it again before the winter?

Lorayn, the rule books have been printed and (fingers crossed) you should receive your copy soon.

Lorayn · 24/09/2007 18:10

ha slowreader, dp is cooking tonight, so I have just got off the phone to the chinese.

Slubberdegullion · 24/09/2007 18:21

Am I allowed back on here after my shockingly interesting multi-copulatory snails post?

I have 9 pens in my pen pot and 2 pencils, both of which need sharpening. I have no sharpener.

pointydog · 24/09/2007 18:29

oo copulating snails.

Have ya seen a snail lay its eggs, slubber - have ya, have ya?

It is... amazing and repellant

Welcome back, Slubber. Did you see my post about my red pencil which has my name on it? I have been thinking about how long I have had this pencil and I think it is 28 years.

slowreader · 24/09/2007 18:32

SlubberdeG I wondered if your (shocking) snails were what I have always called slipper limpets. They have v similar ways of amusing themselves.

Who'd of thought it of snails (and other molluscs), maybe that is what they ponder about all day long...I wanna shag, I wanna shag you and you and you on top of you and are you a boy or a girl snail, who cares, let's get it on......

pointydog, I have not seen that, I do not think I want to see that.

28 years you say Elenya, that is a long lived pencil.

ElenyaTuesday · 24/09/2007 18:41

Well, obviously I can't use my pencil because if I did I would have to sharpen it and then I would remove some of the letters. So, naturally, my pencil is only for looking at, you see.

RustyBear · 24/09/2007 18:44

I have now got home from work, and there is still no sign of the dull brown snail.

There is another snail on the ornamental grass next to the garden table, but that one has a stripey shell, so it is too interesting for this thread.

ElenyaTuesday · 24/09/2007 18:46

I think so, RustyBear. Have you caught up with all my fascinating comments about my red pencil with my name on it? Califrau doesn't have one, which I think is quite sad.

RustyBear · 24/09/2007 18:49

If Califrau told us her name, perhaps we could buy her some pencils with her name on from one of those Christmas catalogues - do they deliver to California?

RosaLuxembourg · 24/09/2007 18:50

We had leftover vegetarian lasagne for tea. And baked potatoes.
Still no potato peeler.

RosaLuxembourg · 24/09/2007 18:50

Or just pencils that say Califrau. She might like that.

Tamum · 24/09/2007 18:50

We could probably get some done with "Califrau" on, couldn't we? That would be nice. I am using a black biro to do my sudoku.

Slubberdegullion · 24/09/2007 18:50

I have just had a good look at my pens. One has BMA conference unit written on the side, and I have a Berrol notewriter (yellow). All the other pens are without title.

slowreader · 24/09/2007 18:51

It is lovely that you appreciate your pencil so much. I once order 2 whole packs of felt pens with names on for neighbours children. They said 'oh more felt pens' and were very disgruntled. I was rather disappointed and abandoned my idea of ordering a further set for the little boy in Africa that I sponsor. But in light of your red pencil appreciation I think I will reconsider.

Blandmum · 24/09/2007 18:51

ohhhhh, get that Tamum, she does her suduko is pen

Tamum · 24/09/2007 18:52

Snap Rosa, although I do in fact have a potato peeler, and very good it is too. It was a present from my SIL.

Blandmum · 24/09/2007 18:52

I have a pencil with 'The Tolpuddle Martyrs' printed on the side

OP posts:
Tamum · 24/09/2007 18:52

And there was me with no idea that doing sudoku in pen was posh...

Slubberdegullion · 24/09/2007 18:53

Pen sudoku, that is just cerebral posturing of the very worst kind.
