I need to cut my lawn. Do you think I'll need to do it again before the winter?

I think MI's rash sounds positively exotic.

You have been boring well. Is there any news on the snail? I have been thinking about the snail.

GodzillasBumcheek · 25/09/2007 22:11

My barometer is indicating a change in the weather. I tapped it but it doesn't do anything.

slowreader · 25/09/2007 22:20

I apologise for the sheep story.
I suppose the snail is still travelling.119 days to go.
It must have been nice to own a dehumidifier this summer.

GodzillasBumcheek · 25/09/2007 22:29

Lol...erm, sorry to be vaguely interesting, but dh dropped the old one early on in the year. Due to our being financially challenged (not poor, obviously, we are too middle class for that) we have only just decided we can buy a new one. In boring white of course.

ahundredtimes · 25/09/2007 22:31

slowreader - where is the snail going? Has he gone off somewhere exciting? Please spill.

RustyBear · 25/09/2007 22:32

No news on the snail. MB is going to look for it at Warwick in November, and give it a pencil.
Actually DD is going to Warwick open day tomorrow & meeting DS in Leamington. She might spot it somewhere.

ahundredtimes · 25/09/2007 22:34

A pencil? How kind and how appropriate.

That snail got bored didn't he Rusty? That's why he's going to Warwick. Good for the snail.

RustyBear · 25/09/2007 22:39

A personalised pencil with 'snail' on it.
But he's not going to Warwick, he disappeared at the same time DS went back to uni, so we think he's employing a snail's well-known homing ability to come back.

slowreader · 25/09/2007 22:41

if Warwick is how I remember it one wet day a few years ago the snail be v glad to get back.

ahundredtimes · 25/09/2007 22:42

Oh I see. He's a hitchhiking snail? Grabbed a lift to Warwick, now on his way home. He can use the pencil to write up his experiences. He can call it On The Road For An Extremely Long Time.

Thank you for the update. I can sleep well now.
