Lol...erm, sorry to be vaguely interesting, but dh dropped the old one early on in the year. Due to our being financially challenged (not poor, obviously, we are too middle class for that) we have only just decided we can buy a new one. In boring white of course.

No news on the snail. MB is going to look for it at Warwick in November, and give it a pencil.
Actually DD is going to Warwick open day tomorrow & meeting DS in Leamington. She might spot it somewhere.

But he's not going to Warwick, he disappeared at the same time DS went back to uni, so we think he's employing a snail's well-known homing ability to come back.

Oh I see. He's a hitchhiking snail? Grabbed a lift to Warwick, now on his way home. He can use the pencil to write up his experiences. He can call it On The Road For An Extremely Long Time.
